Staff was nice and always smile and helpful. Breakfast was ok but not like a Hotel. Nothing in room. No tea bag or coffee in room, no iron, no cup no telephone. You need to go to the reception in person to ask for something. No air conditioner only had a small fan in the room so sleep not well due to feel hot. Toilet in the room was big enough for 2 persons stay inside. Sauna room very dark no towel supplied in the sauna room.

This was our second time in Suite #517 by Interior designer Teuvo Loman. There are two suites at this hotel. They are sold at the same price. The sale price was 136 euros. Suite #517 is more spacious. The living room is bigger because the balcony doesn't extend over it like in Suite #519. However, the balconies in both suites are the same size. The sauna is quite small. The maximum capacity is for two people. The best part in the bathroom was a new mist shower head. It was extremely comfortable. Only at Scandic Oulu City, we have found a similar shower head. The hotel restaurant had got a facelift after our last visit. It still had a little nightclub feeling, although the dance floor had been covered with tables. The breakfast was one of the best we have had at any Sokos Hotels. It was pleasantly calm and the food selection was excellent.

Absolutely fantastic! Like staying in an old house visiting friends. 6 Unique rooms. Renovated with style. Breakfast sitting in the kitchen with the owners ... chatting... eating home made buns, boiled eggs, freshly brewed coffee, quality tee, sparkling wine ( glutein free options). Downtown area but still peaceful. Great design store 8Etelä opposite and the perfect coffee shop next door: Villa Marenki. If you need the best luxorious boutique pittoresque style and atmosphere, this is your choice!!!

Yard sauna has open fireplace, cold water pipe, wood-burning stove and hot water cauldron. Yard sauna in use 01.04. - 15.11.There are several alternative sleeping places in this accommodation, but the maximum number of people is 8. Originally a house, now renovated, furnishings are aimed at retaining the old style. Chalet located in village, yard area is nice. Road/path to shore.The owner rents out movable wood heated hot tub for 6 persons. Please, check the availability in advance (hot tub is rented among several cottages). Hot tub will be delivered filled with water, but the guest will take care of the heating.Horse riding opportunities 9 km, Hauho 15 km, Tampere 65 km.Note! Cozy log cabin by a clear-watered lake Iso-Roine.37 km to the north from Hämeenlinna, lake Iso-Roine 20 m (length 8 km, width 2 km), shallow bottom, pier. There is a steep stairs down to the shore in front of the cabin, nature trail to the pier, where you can swim. Near the pier, there is a small sand shore where the smallest members of the family can swim. The shore deepens fast. There is a shallow child-friendly sand beach within 200 m from the cabin (shared with neighboring cabins).The marina, where you can find a rowing boat belonging to the cabin, is 100 meters away. The rowing boat is stored in the harbor due to the rockiness of the beach. A little further from the harbor, you can get a shortcut to the meadow area, where are opportunities for many kinds of activities.Log cabin 2006, living room / kitchen with sofa bed, 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each (one downstairs, another upstairs), sleeping loft with 4 beds, wood-heated sauna, washroom, toilet downstairs and upstairs, covered porch.There is direct access from the sauna to the porch for cooling, the porch has a round log-made table group.
