Service was good but the maintenance of the room have got to be improved. There were stains on the windows of the shower area.
Toilet bowl constantly has a flowing water sound throughout the night.
I would prefer if theres a mini fridge for us to chill drinks/food, especially in the hot season!
Breakfast was alright, I appreciate the live egg station as well as the pho. Bread was stale though.
Other than those issues, bellboy service was really good and genuine.
Exclusive beach was a plus with great views and accessories like hammock, swing etc.
For the price, definitely worth an experience!

After being stuck at home for the past 3 years and watching replays of Getaway, we finally got out of Australia and arrived in Phu Quoc. Stepping out of the taxi we were warmly greeted by the concierge staff with the traditional 'Xin Chao' as they escorted us into the beautiful Movenpick Resort foyer. Immediately my wife and I felt relaxed. This was what we had missed during COVID, escaping our busy lives and enjoying such beautiful resorts. Check-in was seamless and we were in our room in no time. I had an issue with our room and spoke to Linh at reception who was so nice and professional, and quickly resolved the situation. And in a flash we were by gorgeous pool and enjoying tropical cocktails. We spent the next 3 days laying around the pool, in the sun loungers looking out into the ocean, taking naps in the hammocks between the palm trees and enjoying the ocean breeze as we watched the sunsets. The Spa was amazing and one of the best we've experienced. The pre-spa sauna, stream room and spa baths was sooo relaxing. Breakfast was a feast to the eyes with delicious authentic Vietnamese food and a great international selection. The afternoons were spent devouring all sorts of enticing desserts during Chocolate Hour (and all for free, what a bonus!) We loved spending our evenings at Aura Beach Club as Vu was so helpful and attentive. He even got the whole team to sing Happy Birthday to me which was such a pleasant surprise. When we returned to our room, Linh and the reception team had organised a birthday cake and some gifts from the Resort. So sweet! It's things like this that make our holidays even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed Movenpick Resort Phu Quoc and the wonderful staff that made it so special. We will be back! and will bring all our families and friends :)

Excellent service, convenient location, and extremely helpful staff. I'm in utter love with this place. The décor of the brand-new room was sophisticated and elegant. The hotel employees provided excellent service, which made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Leila, in particular, was kind and thoughtful in setting everything up for us, and she always comes with a big, genuine smile, which makes us even happier. She went above and above to make my stay as enjoyable as possible by planning my routes to visit various locations on my own, explaining in detail how to get there, and reserving my ticket to the airport. We want to express our gratitude for making our experience spectacular and incredibly memorable. Overall experience can be expressed in 3 syllables Fa Bu Lous, can’t wait to go back.

The establishment was very beautiful and serene, and everything was clean and very luxurious. The shops in the surrounding area were very traditional, which was lovely to experience, and there were many convenience stores dotting the surrounding area. The staff was excellent and super helpful and kind. They also helped us to arrange several tours, our favorite being the island hopping tour. The one downside to this place is that the restaurants and the amenities were very expensive. Prices were inflated, sometimes quadruple the amount outside so we saw many people frequenting places off the premises. My recommendation would be to have more variety of places to eat and drink that won’t break the bank and I’m sure this establishment will have many more customers. To add, the breakfast was absolutely phenomenal, some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. It’s definitely worth checking out and we will definitely stay here again.

I travel the world with Marriott brand only, this is the very disappointed Sheraton Phu Quoc that I happen to stay, I booked a family suite oceanfront during June1-5,2023. This review written on June 2,2023. It isn’t 5 star resort. Marriott Should not put their name on it, because it degrade the quality of Marriott Brand. We check in during lunch and went to Garden restaurant, the lunch buffer have nothing worth to eat so we order from menu total of 5 hot dish for 5 of us, only 3 dish come out 20 minute, 1 dish come out 45 minute later and final dish never come. So 1 of us can’t have lunch. We lelf the restaurant and came to our SUITE all the keys doesn’t work so after the trip to front desk again finally we got in the suite. The room temperature was at 25C degrees and keep go up. Call the maintenance no help there The resort is old and need upgrade ASAP including AC units. We went down to front desk and request to change the room, they told us to leave our phone number so they can contact us regarding the room transfer. We never received the call, we have to went out to find a decent place for our dinner because we are not sure about restaurant dinner buffet!!! So by the time get to the room we too tired to call and bother the front desk. I am a Platium Bonvoy of the Marriott. It mean I stay at least 50 nights per year with Marriott. This is the first time I feel like I got cheat out of 5 stars resort. So today I will ask them to cancel the rest of the stay and move to another resort, hopefully JW Marriott in the other end of the island. My review is not prejudiced about the staff or Food not even the normal wear and tear of the resort but mainly with the management team. On the small note to resort management director. You should try your own food in the restaurant including the ice cream in the snack bar, I think the Ice cream was there too long. I wish all the best to my fellow guess and hope that you will be better luck then me. After my first impression with The 5 star resort. I would like update my review. Just one action of the top team management in breakfast room, it change my opinion and I am very appreciated his customer services. His name is Mr Hoang. He fresh up my family’s morning with an offer a cup of Green Tea, when services like that happen, it took out of all the bad experience and show you how great the staff can brighten your day. Furthermore in the long conversation he explains to me the new management just took over last September 2022 and in process of remodel the resort. Also the staff had been trained and continue to update their customers services. Therefore I would like to update my review with a 5 stars and continue to believe in Marriott branding Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach. This is on my day 4 at the resort and I am very happy to share with everyone. Thank you for read my review and after all we have a happy ending. My best wish remain with the staff of the Hotel specifically with the Breakfast room management

This is the best hotel in South East Asia. If you are looking for a resort hotel to spend quality time with your partner, just book Regent. you will not regret it.
firstly, the room.
the room is superbly designed. Modern and chic. The semi enclosed balcony gives you space to chill out and enjoy the sea breeze. Mini bar and snack drawers are fully stocked, entirely complimentary and restock every day, so that you can enjoy the moments without the hassle of racking up hotel bills.
secondly, the service is simply outstanding. they will bring you drinks whenever you sit at the pool or beach lounge chairs. every single staff from the gardeners to the waitress, cleaners will greet you. the regent experience team is so professional, we forgot our t shirt at the room and they promptly courier it us at our next destination at HCM.
Thirdly, the breakfast is devine. The spread and set up is the best I have ever seen. Trust me, you will eat many rounds at breakfast.

All the front desk staff and buggy staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms were luxurious and well-maintained. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

The hotel's design, facilities, and location are quite good. I could feel the artistic design of the French brand. The facilities and location are not bad, either. The problem is some employees. Unlike a five-star hotel, some employees are very irreverent. In particular, the staff who informs me of Sunset Town's events and shuttle buses in the morning is very unfriendly. I stayed in Phu Quoc for two weeks, and I have never seen any hotel staff glaring at customers and trying to teach them loudly as if they were bothered. The porter also feels like he is avoiding the burden without laughing. It seems that there are employees who cannot work even in a three-star hotel here. Of course, the majority of the employees are good employees. So, after all, is it a matter of the manager who is using these employees?

PPatrickLA recommended hotel when you plan to stay in Phu Quoc during your vacation. The staffs here are friendly and take care of the guest. A great hospitality given by the front office - Ms My. She really done a great job and very taking care of me during my stay. Definitely, I will go back to stay with this property!
GGuest UserOverall this was a good stay, but I'm going to likely try someplace else when returning to Phu Quoc, mostly to find a better match for the vibe I like out of a beach resort. Staff was pleasant, but not overly memorable. The resort is a lot bigger than I thought and most of the clientele that I saw were couples and families. I had a beachfront bungalow that was very nicely furnished with a king sized four poster bed, a huge bathroom and an outdoor balcony overlooking the beach. You can hear the waves at night once the very loud EDM/hip hop coming from two directions cuts out around 3 am. I took a 'can't beat em, join em' mentality one night and strolled over to the loud beach bar next door at night to realize that all the loud music was playing for exactly six people who were all yelling to hear one another over the music and not even on the dancefloor. Breakfast in the mornings was good, there's a friendly little mouse that comes by to lap up the crumbs as you eat if you dine alfresco. If you're turned off by rodents, Phu Quoc might but be the best place for you fyi. The bar at the hotel was very small with about 10 stools, but the guys that worked there were nice and the vibe was pretty chill.
The space is clean and safe. It has good food for breakfast and dinner. I enjoyed my stay. I had a good time with family. I will definitely try to come back next time. One of the staff Thuong is nice and friendly. Everyone here is good and I enjoy my stay.
SSupraneein General, this place was good but the cleaning just so so, we thought they not cleaning room even keep them informed.
Bad experience with the reception at first day (night time), asked information how to go to Sun World Hon Thom but she said only taxi with unpolite & loud noise
GGuest UserThe hotel is very reasonably priced, the room is tiny but generally has everything you need, including a beautiful view from the window and a breakfast that takes you to another hotel at the other end of the village (and yet free drinks are not included in the breakfast, meaning you have to pay even for a cup of coffee: don't forget to take your wallet to breakfast!). However, there is a serious problem that would make me not stay at this hotel again. The walls are made as if they were made of paper. If a neighbour puts on music at 1am, you will hear it as if it were in your room. I had to knock on the next door to ask neighbors to stop the music. They woke me up! Also, there is essentially no ”privacy” as the doors to the room have a gap at the bottom as thick as a finger. At night you can see the light from the corridor, and in general anyone can look into the room through such a gap. Not to mention the problems with soundproofing.
JJose LuisAll you can expect from a 5 star hotel. Large and comfortable rooms, bed and bathroom. Great breakfast buffet. Amazing pools and easy access to private beach. Poolside bar with very good and tasty cocktails. Sonasea night market is across the street with a good variety of shops and restaurants. Ask around and you can get great deals on seafood; we had a great deal on a medium sized lobster and 12 huge tiger shrimp (1 kg). Worth the price.
SSEANIEBEEThe beach is a disgrace (not this hotel's fault specifically) but the people of this town clearly have no respect for their waters. Litter and plastic floating in the sea and all washed up on the shore...This hotel is new but utterly soulless...the staff are going around as if they're terrified someone in management is going to reprimand them at any moment for doing something wrong. And as a guest, you get the feeling they think you're here to stiff them out of, oh, I dunno, towels or robes or water... it's bordering on paranoia. I was in the petit room which, although small, is fine for one person... it's well designed and well appointed with high ceilings and a cool bathroom (shower only) and cool floor to ceiling windows that frame the dirty beach... and let locals watch you while you go to the toilet. Breakfast was mainly Asian food, but a substantial buffet nonetheless...however overall the place is sterile... it's clean but gives you no reason to want to sit at their always empty bar/restaurant...nor by the pool. The little rooms are well priced... it's only 5 mins walk to the Night Market... and the hotel is M for modern. But it thinks it's better than it is and needs to inject a bit of life and fun into itself and stop taking itself so seriously....oh and they wanted to keep my passport for the duration of my stay, or else pay an exorbitant deposit that would be ”refunded within 3 or 4 weeks” !😳 Grow up people... it's a slightly above average hotel you're running not a bank. Very missable all things considered...
GGuest UserThe resort has alot of potential with an exclusive beach, swimming pool and eloquent rooms (some with great views). Breakfasts are great. The manager was good and takes pride in the resort, however when he was not around in the afternoons and evenings service was rare and hard to find. You have to actively go look for restaurant staff to place an order or pay. The restaurant could be alot more profitable if staff actively removed plates and asked clients if they could get them anything e.g dessert, drinks. They charge a service fee, but with little service.
It advertises a gym, but equipment is in disrepair, they should not advertise facilities which are not functional.
There is not much around the resort in terms of restaurants, bars and shops. It is also not an easy location to get to, but yet we found the reception unhelpful in getting transport.
All in all the resort could be great, but service needs to be improved.
GGuest UserDuring your stay at Grand World Phu Quoc, you are in for a delightful experience near Windonder and Ganh Dau Beach. The resort's location is simply stunning, offering breathtaking ocean views and beautiful surroundings. The accommodations are luxurious and cozy, equipped with all modern amenities for a truly relaxing stay. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing excellent service throughout your visit. Enjoy a fantastic dining experience with a wide selection of delicious dishes. Don't miss out on exploring the nearby attractions like Windonder and Ganh Dau Beach, which will only add to the overall charm of your stay. We highly recommend Grand World Phu Quoc for an unforgettable getaway.
TTonyctca1We are here now and I have read some of the poor reviews. I don't understand them. Rooms are great, pool is clean, tiled and grouped. Staff are so helpfull and friendly. Rooms are cleaned every day, bathrooms clean and showers are top notch compared to some we have stayed in to get here. Absolute value for money with picturesque views and all amenities you could need. The walk to the main street is a bit of a walk but not a hike. Take my word for it and don't take any notice of the bad reviews. THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC VALUE FOR MONEY. Only comment is breakfast could be a bit better, but not worth not booking because of it.
