Fodele Beach Water Park Resort

We have just spent the week at the Fodele Beach Hotel and had a fantastic time. We were a family of 5, with two young children (8&9). On the second day, our children went to kids club and we barely saw them for the rest of the week they enjoyed it so much! The entire entertainment/mini team by Pink Wave were amazing with our children but we were particularly impressed by the dedication and warmth shown by one staff member, Karina. Karina was kind, caring and naturally engaging and will be truly missed by our children.

Recently back from a big family holiday, 11 of us including 3 under 18s & 2 over 70s, 4 rooms between us all. The rooms were clean & modern, only 1 room had the minifridge restocked each day which wasn't great. The 2 x sun rooms were small but ample, the family room was a decent size, the duplex apartment was huge but the double bed needs to be upstairs & the twin beds downstairs. Do not book a duplex apartment if you have young children as the stairs are so steep they are dangerous. The pools area were extremely clean & tidy due to the 'no food' policy, the pool bar was well stocked & we found many branded drinks included but a bit understaffed in the daytime. I also enjoyed the cocktails. My teenage sons enjoyed the gym & the pools. Never had any issues getting sunbeds every for such a large group of us! Pool towels changed daily The waterpark was brilliant, a walk up the hill or a quick buggy ride, also tennis courts & crazy golf all included. It wasn't overly busy so no queues on the slides. Snack bar up there does hotdogs etc again all very clean. The a la cartes were 'all booked up' on our day of arrival for the next 7 days, this was disappointing. Luckily part of our group arrived a bit earlier so managed to get us into thr Greek one which was amazing- our best meal. We were there for the opening night of the new beach BBQ which we also enjoyed & would recommend. The food choices in general were really good, always fresh & a good choice for breakfast lunch & dinner. The chefs work so hard & I did not get bored of the food like I normally do with AI. We had no troubles getting large table for us all or smaller ones close together. Steps - unless you love climbing steps then you probably need to really consider if a hotel in a cliff side is suitable for your parties needs. We are all able bodied but omg what a work out!! If you have pushchairs or a disability I wouldn't recommend this hotel purely as its made out of steps. Steps to every room, steps round the pool - each one of us had a fall & many people were on crutches or bandaged up from slips & falls. You do get used to it but it's not ideal. The train was not working whilst we were there, the buggys were good though. The hotel beach area is good with reasonable priced watersports, we did jet skis, sofa & paragliding. Plenty of sunbeds. The hotel is not near anything so you will not find anything close by. We went on a boat trip to Dia Islsnd to break up the week, this was a highlight for us. Absolutely stunning area. Was it perfect for our needs - yes! We had a wonderful time. Would I visit again - no I don't miss the steps 🤣

Very friendly and helpful staff. Iraklis was great and seemed very experienced. 1st time I have done this and iraklis mdde me feel very comfortable. I had a full body massage and feel extremely relaxed. My parter had a facial and had a great treatment as well.

Excellent hotel, welcoming and smiley stuff. The beach is wonderful, the hotel is very clean. Special thanks to Maria from the spa and Popi from the pool bar, they were both very service aware. The only think you should consider is that the hotel has many stairs (from the room to the restaurant, from the lobby to the beach, you have to climb to the top to get to the water park).

Wonderfully clean rooms and all areas. Excellent selection of food and the two restaurants are worth visiting. The hotel has a handy app so you can book your restaurants and learn more about the facilities and surrounding areas. Wi-Fi is great. Plenty beds on the beach and around the pool. You do need to be at the pool early for a good spot and you do need to be decent and not hog the beds if you’re not planning to spend the day there. Entertainment was fine. A group of youngsters working very hard and doing a great job. Spa was superb, well worth the price. Rafael and Maria were absolute professionals. Take some euros and tip the staff and be polite. My only grumble is just how rude some guests are to the lovely hard working staff. The gym doesn’t open until 8am. We felt that was too late as we wanted to spend an hour in the gym each morning but didn’t want it to encroach on our morning so 7am would be much better. The parasols round the pool don’t adjust so if you need the shade like me, that can be a small issue. Oh and the pool tables were 2.50euro a game which I thought was excessive and as A result they don’t seem to get used much. Very busy with families with infants so we probably wouldn’t return as our children are nearly grown up but I would absolutely recommend to anyone with children. Water sports were great. We went paragliding and on the boat bed. Lots of steps (kept us fit!) water park was brilliant. Just enough to keep us entertained for an hour or so each tea time. We arrived in the early hours and there was a small buffet set out for us which was hugely appreciated. The guy in the reception knocks up the best cocktails and is super friendly. Overall, we loved it

My wife have make a spa day!amazing! Kind stuff,very nice environment! Greedings to all team of the spa especially to maria ! We recommend it for sure. A lot of massage programs to do, and they was make really for hole one hour! Thank you very much

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The weather was perfect, and the people were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The staff at the hotel were super friendly, and the spa was amazing. I visited with my two kids, aged 8 and 10, and they had the time of their lives. Highly recommended!

A really good, family friendly hotel and resort. We travelled with 6 children aged 3 or under and 6 adults and stayed in superior family rooms with garden views. The rooms were great, two bedrooms and a bathroom with a fridge, tv and excellent air conditioning. The hotel is nice and clean with a good variety of bars and restaurants. The water park is a great feature and the pools are nice. The beach and sea is lovely and good selection of sun beds and shade across the beach. Access around the hotel is tricky if you have a pram as there are lots of different layers to the complex separated by steps so I’d recommend taking a carrier if you can. There are some negative reviews about food and bar queues but we found the food was really nice, especially the beach bbq which was excellent. There were queue at some of the bars but not long and they moved quickly. The entertainment is a bit budget compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at so that brings it down a notch on the review. I wouldn’t visit if travelling with adults only as children dominate the pool during the day.

Brilliant experience at the Aegeo Spa at Fodele beach. Beautiful Space and very welcoming ladies there to help. Thank you Katerina for your service, so friendly. I highly recommend visiting the Aego spa at Fodele beach. 10/10 definately worth checking it out
