With four friends on 4 motorcycles stayed at the Hotel, which is a typical hotel/motel on the edge of town. Greeted by a lovely lady receptionist who was very friendly, charming and polite. The hotel Provided safe parking in a locked and secure Car park overnight. Basic rooms, but clean. Typical French basic breakfast which served its purpose. Not the Ritz, but not Ritz prices It did the job.

I had an amazing experience at the hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms were pure luxury - immaculately clean and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail and the little touches truly made a difference. I couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind and relax. The hotel's ambiance was soothing, and the amenities provided were top-notch. The outstanding service and the genuine hospitality of the staff made me feel welcome and valued as a guest. I can't praise them enough for their professionalism and attentiveness. Overall, my stay was nothing short of perfect. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a delightful experience. Visited here for one night on a stopover to Portugal (scenic trip!). Great triple room, (travelling as a family (not teens but doesn't give me the option) but three adults) and the room was very large. We checked in via the machine, which is easy if you regularly stay at Hotel B&B's but can be confusing on a first stay. Upon our return , after an afternoon of exploring the area, we were greeted by the owners who are a lovely friendly couple and made sure all guests were comfortable and happy. We found this hotel to be relaxing, very clean, comfortable, plenty of room, nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Breakfast was usual B&B breakfast but plentiful. Fresh croissants, bread, coffee, hot food, plenty of choice and we were joined by the hotel cat who sat next to us and doesn't seem phased by all the different guests or languages spoken! The area has a McDonalds, Carrefour, Buffalo Grill, bakery and small shopping centre all walking distance nearby so if you just need to rest and don't want to drive any further you can easily eat closeby. A quiet area and a nice stop over we will return.

The staff were warm, friendly and very helpful. The restaurant is great - we ate there for two of the five evenings we stayed at the hotel, and the meals were fabulous (the best Kouign Amman on the planet - must be a Breton chef!) The location is perfect for the beach and the old town. However, although the standard of cleanliness was excellent, the hotel rooms need a bit of TLC - very small bathrooms with no space to hang towels up properly, slightly shabby and in need of attention in some areas (broken washing line in ours), and the rooms were very small. There is only one small lift and it's very slow, so we used the stairs a lot - but the staircase obviously isn't considered a priority in terms of comfort - the carpets are very old and shabby, there was spare furniture piled up on the first floor, and it smelled a little musty. So overall, although we liked the hotel and would stay here again based on the staff, the restaurant and the location, I would say it's over-priced in terms of the rooms and bathrooms.
