Royal Hotel Orange

Unsure how to rate this, as the hotel does not have my booking record booked through ******* (first time in my travel), give me a bit of surprised. Unsure about which party fault of overbooked maybe, luckily i arrived upon check-in time and not in a hurry. The hotel service staff and ******* response were quick and helpful to get me a different room. I appreciate very much their patient and service, particular the Hotel receptionist/bar staff and ******* relocation phone customer service. Thing maybe different if i arrived at night or if i am in a hurry. I maybe hesitate to use ******* hotel booking in the future.

I found all staff very helpful and pleasant. The only problem I had was the stairs, as i am old, wish they had a service lift. Lovely place to stay

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly staff who made our check-in process smooth and hassle-free, which immediately set a positive tone for our stay. The room itself was spotlessly clean, with a refreshing simplicity. The beds were comfortable and provided a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's proximity to various attractions. Being situated in the city centre meant that we were within walking distance of numerous pubs, restaurants, and shops, making it incredibly convenient to explore everything Orange has to offer. I turned up to find out your service never booked the accommodation and it was not on their list. I checked the app but could only find the calendar event, but the booking no. Would not work. The manager found us two rooms, extra cost of $100.00. The team there were amazing though. Your service could improve though.

I paid for a single room with shower but given a cheaper room without a shower. When asked why "it's the the next best option" because they over booked. No refund given. Also, tv and wifi didn’t work.

Room smelt like mould, shower was full of mould, good position, parking for about 8-10 car's, get in early if you want a park

Great place to stay, staff friendly, stair’s difficult, food great. Parking very limited.

There was some confusion with our booking and we were upgraded to an apartment which was very spacious but also being renovated. There wasn’t anything very functional in the kitchen except the fridge and the microwave. We were fine with it all but as we had paid for a private bathroom, we were not happy about the shared bathroom facilities. Restaurant meals were good and plentiful. The hotel is very old and a great location, but as it’s being renovated I imagine some rooms will be better than others.
