Honest review from a family perspective. It seems to me that people have too high expectations, and vote down, or low and vote up. From the reviews we were not that high in expectations, but we've had nothing short of a wonderful time here in start of November. I'll try to sum up something I felt I didn't know before arriving: All Inc: At beach: water, juices, coffee and one ice cream a day. No alcohols. Rest paid. At pool/restaurant/bar: water, juice, coffie, tea, beer, wine (red and white ok, rose not good to our taste). Vodka, campari, Malibu and some other local spirits. Food: buffé with what you expect from a buffé. Breakfast: serials, bread, spreads, egg, salads etc. Lunsh/dinner: salads, Turkish pizza, 4-6 dished with meat, one dish fish, pasta, rice. Always something to eat, but not the most exiting stuff. Lots of cakes. Snackbar (by pool side): nuggets, salads, Turkish pancake with cheese etc (very good) + (Children favorite food place). Clean rooms (we got main building). Aqua park, pool and Childers games very good.

This was our first visit to Turkey. Definitely won't be the last. We weren't actually supposed to be staying at this hotel but were told we had to take because ours wasn't available. No reason given. But, I can't really complain about anything. The staff are wonderful, so helpful and polite. Please and thankyou go a long way! They brought us drinks and anything else we asked for. I wish I could remember their names but I can't. But the older gentleman who was always there afternoon/evening especially needs a mention. He was absolutely lovely and gave us some chillies. Food was lovely. As pointed out, not totally geared to the English but let's be fair, we were in Turkey! What do people expect? The Turkish kebab night was amazing. There was always something to eat and everything was cooked well and delicious. We were put on the 6th (top) floor and were glad we did. The rooms up there are twice the size of the other rooms as are the balconies. Wonderful views from up there too. Would highly recommend asking for a room on the 6th floor. No issues with the lifts either. Pool area was a bit smaller than I'm used to but perfectly adequate. Saying that, we were there at the end of November and it wasn't majorly busy. The pool bar was great and always manned. If nobody was there, there was always someone keeping an eye out and they would pop up very quickly. Drinks were absolutely fine. The hotel is in a great location. 5 mins from the beach and in the middle of shops all around. Most of the shops take turkish lira, euros or English pounds. I would recommend taking euros tbh. Most seemed to prefer this. We didn't book any excursions but we did go to the harbour and booked a pirate boat trip. Absolutely fabulous and the cheapest boat trip ever. Nearly 5 hours, diving stops, free soft drinks and lunch for 15 euros each! If you want to do a boat trip, Definitely go to the harbour and haggle! Our trip started at 25 euros and it went down the further down we walked. The guys are not too pushy and are friendly. Also had a massage and foam bath at the hotel. Highly recommend this, especially the foam bath if you never had one before. WiFi was free and excellent throughout the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was a cozy stay at this average hotel. Very nice, polite and friendly staff. Nice location near the sea but a little far from the center of the city. The bathroom was not very clean for tidy persons but it was acceptable. The pool very good and clean with nice area. The room was spacious in compare with turkey hotels.

Have just returned from my first ever solo holiday and after a ton of research, finally chose Antique Roman Palace after reading all of the reviews and wasn't disappointed with my choice. Lovely rooms that were well maintained and no issues with housekeeping, it was fun to see how artistic they were with preparing the bed, the first night was a creature wearing my glasses which genuinely made me laugh when I walked through the door. Food was good with plenty of choice, if you didn't want to eat in the main restaurant, there were food options in the 24 hour bar that were freshly prepared upon order. The hotel has two pools as well the main beach over the road, where the staff member was always smiling and attentive, as you could access drinks. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much for them. Only drawback was that there weren't too many English speaking guests, so as a solo traveller, that was a bit limiting - but it's not the hotels fault! Loved the place ❤️

Fine all inclusive hotel, but place for improvement. 2 euro for fresh juice at the restaurant. That’s not 5 star attitude! 5 euro for using the sauna before 12, and after 14. That’s not 5 star attitude. You get one towel at the spa, and no matter what happens, you can’t change it, because a very unpleasant man at the spa desk hates tourists. He loved telling people that he was in charge of towels. Ha hahaha. The man in charge of the spa, wearing a white shirt was a great people person, and understood customer approach. The toilet at the rooms smell of sewer. Descent hotel, but not 5 star.

Good hotel. Rooms big, furniture, san.technology, lamps all work, nothing broken, mask nets are. Bedding, towels clean. With water all perfectly hot, cold stress good. Feed moderate- good, I got enough, and I got a lot. Cleanness all over the hotel. The shortcoming is that there is no free internet in the room, but it's not scary. Thank you. I'll come back to you.

We made a reservation from ETS Tur a month or two ago, it was an economical holiday. I would like to thank Mr. Numan, the manager of Polat Tatil Evleri, for hosting me and my family well. There was nothing missing in the room we stayed in, electronic devices and everything else were working properly. Our balcony had a pool view, there was no fly problem on the balcony or in the room. Apart from this, the location of the hotel is a central place for those who want to visit the bays of Alanya, with Orange Bay and Kargicak Bay in the east, and Damlatas Bay and Cleopatra Bay in the west. Additionally, if you want to take a walk after having dinner in your room in the evening, there is a walking and cycling path on the beach. The hotel is close to bus stops and there are places to shop near the hotel.
