Excellent place with great service. Nice meeting facilities. Beautiful view around the place. Good breakfast and meals. The property is big and spread over large area. Overall very happy and satisfied that I spent few days here. It may be slightly far from city but then it was good for our team bonding.

Johannesberg restaurant probably is the best restaurant in the area. Lunch is always served very representable with dignity. Menu is creative, and the environment is charming with lush landscape view of Roslagen. Service is top notch. Note: always call and reserve table in advance, they do accept same day reservations for lunch if there are availability.

Terrible service. We were overcharged for dinner and had to complain before getting a refund. There was hardly any hot water in our room. The tv had two channels. However the pool was definitely worth it.

We stayed in room 90, which was also prepared for accommodation with a dog. In summary, we had a great time! Although the decor in a standard room is not turn-of-the-century and is somewhat dated, it is quite charming and the beds were comfortable.
The wife thought it was cold during the night even though the heat was on maximum, but I slept like a log. We had a great time in the spa depar**ent, but it was a bit of a bummer that it was closed on a Sunday (?), but we enjoyed it on Saturday anyway. Would definitely visit again and the breakfast was great and offered good options for the wife who is vegan. 4.8 out of 5.0

A beautiful castle in a quiet environment with a nice warm outdoor pool. Good room and professional and pleasant reception at the reception. However, the serving staff in the restaurant were ignorant of both food and drink. Also messed up the bill.

Booked myself at Johannesbergs Slott very much out of curiosity. Have passed on the "main road" many times over the years. Have also seen how the place has changed with newly built properties. So now it was time...
Johannesberg Castle with surrounding properties is elevated above the surroundings, which gives a good view. A large part of the surroundings consists of golf courses.
On my visit, it felt a bit deserted in the hotel part, not so many guests. Wandered around a bit in the castle building itself, played a bit of billiards....with myself. Everything was very fresh in the castle building itself, newly renovated. Would probably say that the renovation was a bit too "brutal" considering that it is a historic building.
But of course there is always a trade-off between activities and consideration for the preservation of the historic environment.
On the whole, a pleasant and well-maintained facility.
