Those who live here must go to Yueshan for skiing or climbing. The meals and service are very good. But there is no fitness room here, and the soundproofing is relatively poor. There is no convenience store nearby, please bring your own dry food if you need it. The owner is very nice, I can also use the bathroom after I leave and go skiing on the last day. Go to Yueshan for skiing and highly recommend it.

I wondered what it would be like in a heavy snowfall area, but this year was a warm winter (laughs). It seemed to be about half the amount of snow as usual, but there was still a lot of snow. Unlike a large hot spring hotel, it was easy to move around, and there was plenty of room for bathing and eating. It may happen, but it was quiet and really nice, with no children. I was worried that the food was mainly edible wild plants, but I couldn't eat it. The hearty food was impressive. There was often nobody at the front desk, so I had to wait (laughs), but it was a very good time without any particular discomfort.

Gassan no Yado Kashiwaya is located in Nishikawa and takes about 50 minutes by bus from JR Yamagata Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. Yukata are available for guests to wear during their stay. Guests may borrow hair dryers and trouser pressers at no additional charge (please inquire at the front desk for details). I stayed two nights at the hotel TWIN on a remote mountain. The bed is big but too soft. Only the mountains can be seen from the three small windows. Rooms are big enough and comfortable. Because there were only a few groups eating, we were able to eat near the large window at sufficient intervals. I enjoyed the bath in a monopoly state. It was 5 points if I didn't make a mistake in the last settlement.

コスパの高いホテルである。７月２４日から３０１号室（月山）に２連泊。3階はグランド和室が3室のみ。２０２２年にリニューアルしたようで、畳も新しく、気持ちが良い。部屋はとても広く、30畳、ダイニングルーム、洗面所等、快適。ただ、ＴＶがやや小さいのが残念。眺望は、南に最上川と田園、遠くに山形市と蔵王連峰が見える。特筆すべきは、温泉。露天風呂もある。ホテル棟からつながる温泉棟は、日本建築の良さを採り入れた物。大浴場内湯は、木造り感がとても良い。湯は常に流れている。洗い場は十数か所。コロナ対策で、一つ置きの使用表示。使用しなかったが、サウナもある。混雑することは、一度もなかった。夕食は、地元の食材を使った会席料理。大宴会場と個室利用。朝食はバイキングと和会席。ロビー・ラウンジも広く、フロントスタッフも好印象。チャペルも備え、結婚式場に利用されているようだ。2日目は地元企業の大きな会合利用で、駐車場もいっぱいに。町から離れており、静かで、温泉でゆっくりするにはもってこいである。寒河江サービスエリアのスマートＩＣが3分とかからず、山形自動車道利用には便利だった。これまで山形県の宿泊では蔵王温泉ばかりだったので、山形空港を使うときは、車で30分程の寒河江温泉も便利で良いと感じた。

Good service staff! Because it is a motel form, parking is very convenient. Breakfast. Breakfast content. Coffee juice. Three flavors of bread. Bathroom only has bath towels. Other sanitary products need to be paid.
