Hotel Symphony

The facility was clean and relaxing. The hot springs are open until 9:00 a.m., so I was able to use them both at night and in the morning, and the staff were all kind and soothing both physically and mentally. I will use it again when I go to Yamagata.

There are many steps to reach the room after checking in. It seemed inconvenient for people with bad legs. There aren't many places to eat considering it's right in front of the station.

A hotel facing a courtyard that also serves as a wedding venue. The staff's response was bright, polite and good. I stayed in a Japanese-style room on the second floor, but when I opened the shoji window, I could see everything from across the street, so I couldn't freely look out at the courtyard. It seems like the Showa era building has been renovated and is now beautiful, but there are a lot of steps here and there, and I wondered what people in wheelchairs would do. You can use the bath 24 hours a day, but it's too hot to soak in the hot water for a long time. The open-air bath is also completely surrounded by a wall, so there is no place to look out. There aren't many vending machines in the hotel, and even after getting out of the hot water, it's a long way to go. Dinner is kaiseki, a shabu-shabu meal featuring pork and beef. I wish I had 5 more minutes of solid fuel. For a kaiseki meal, I eat rice with the shrimp chili that comes out at the end. Shrimp chili is delicious. Breakfast is buffet style with local ingredients. However, there is no bread, only rice. It seems that there are not many employees, and it seems that they are not able to take care of the details. The ventilation fan in the bathroom was full of dust. The fallen dust piles up on top of the refillable toilet paper. I wrote a lot of negative things, but it's a relaxing inn that takes into consideration the small details. After traversing the mountains of Yamagata, my sweaty and exhausted body felt like I was in a luxury hotel. There is also a downtown area where you can drink alcohol nearby, so it might be a good idea to hang out without meals.

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious. There was only one washing machine, and it had a set time for use, which was very inconvenient since there was someone else using it.

I stayed here for the first time. The site is near Sagae station and is located in a place where you can easily find it. It feels old, but it is a big and splendid building with more depth than it looks from the front. I arrived at night, but the front of the facility and the parking lot had been properly cleared of snow. Stayed in a twin room. The room looks a little old like the exterior, but it was clean and had everything you need. This hotel has sanitizing alcohol everywhere, but it is a good impression that it is also in the guest room. There are very few lodging facilities that do this. I felt that I was very careful about infection control. The reason I chose this place is the location and hot springs. The building is big, so you have to walk a little to get to the hot spring bath. The open-air bath is closed in winter, and there is only an indoor bath. The medium-sized bath has two spouts, and it seems that the set temperature is slightly different on the left and right sides of the bath. On this day, the hot water of the "sodium chloride spring" had a color between dark brown and greenish yellow. The indoor bath was labeled as slightly lukewarm, but I felt it was generally a little hotter. There was no chlorine disinfection in the hot water, and I was able to feel a very fragrant smell. The spring quality of this hot spring is 5 out of 5 without any complaints. There are eight washrooms surrounding the bathtub, but half of them are unusable due to the corona measures. When I asked the hotel staff, they said that the open-air bath in the courtyard, which was closed, is not that big. Breakfast the next morning is a buffet. It was a private room like a conference room, and the shielding plate was properly installed. However, it seems that they are refraining from replenishing the dishes, probably because there were few guests. When there are few guests, I would personally appreciate it if you had a set menu. Breakfast felt a little unsatisfactory. In other words, if you expect the quality of the hot springs, the evaluation will go up, and if you expect the facilities and food, the evaluation will probably go down a little. The customer service was something that made me feel the simple locality.

主人の里帰りで訪れて、宿泊させていただきました。主人が障害者ということもあって、風呂のついた部屋を使わせてもらいました。部屋は広々として、三人で泊まるには充分過ぎる部屋でしたがゆっくり落ち着いて過ごせて良かったと思いました。温泉が部屋で入れるのは良かった。また利用したいと思います

広い部屋は快適で、温泉も熱いお湯が気持ちよかったです。スタッフの方々も丁寧でした。ありがとうございました。

スタッフが親切に対応してくれます。温泉は温度別で絶品でした。

トイレのウォシュレットが壊れていました それが残念でした　あとはとても快適だと思います
