Comfort Hotel

Great pool and nice breakfast, keept really clean and it’s quite new hotel

enjoyed our stay (we are frequent quests) the comp breakfast his good (more boiled eggs would be good) an extra chair in the room would be good (rm 424) for a 2 person stay will be back!

We had a pleasant stay at the Comfort Hotel. The room was clean and it appears effort has been put into keeping the hotel up-to-date with new furnishings, though the walls still show their age. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, as expected. The shower was nice as well. On the downside, the walls and doors are very thin and we could hear noise from the halls and adjoining rooms. I didn't want to watch TV for fear of disturbing others as I thought others might hear even at a low volume. It appeared there was a fan in the bathroom, but we could not figure out how to turn it on. The neighbourhood feels a little rough, but I felt more secure with a doorbell/card system to access the hotel lobby. We walked to the ****** for our show without issue, the hotel is conveniently located and there is ample parking. Breakfast was very good, a reason we picked this hotel. There were hot and cold options, and I'm always delighted to see bacon is served. I love the pancake machine and getting to watch the pancake cook along the conveyor belt. Overall a good stay at a good price, we would stay here again.

Very nice and clean hotel. Within walking distance or many restaurants and cliffton hill. Safe was very helpful and Rome was nice and clean.

I think what I was expecting and what i got were two different things, so i dont fault the hotel for that! I wanted a luxury weekend getaway, booked what i thought was a great deal for a 4*, and was dissapointed upon arrival. Realistically, if you are looking for an economy location to stay, its a great choice. It had breakfast included at a quite well stocked breakfast buffet, that the staff was keeping a close eye on. It was great! Check in staff was great. I said i wanted a quiet room so they put me at the end of the hall, far from the elevator which was really appreciated. Cons for me was this hotel was a bit...dirty. i am blonde, and there was 4 black long hair in my bed, along with a lot of fluffs. The ceiling had some sort of food stain or something, there was dirt all along the wall under the sink that i noticed while seated in the bathroom, the tub was peeling in spots around the tub drain. Also seemed like a hot spot for people partying (3-4 rooms on my floor were set up like a university dorm, drinking and yelling), which may have just been my luck the night I attended. The location didnt feel particularly safe as a solo female traveler, so that also was a minus for me. Honestly, it would have been fine if my standards werent at a 4* level. I think its a 4* by amenities offered (breakfast included, a gym and a pool, etc), and not by actual luxury. It was fine as a 2* or even 3* considering breakfast but super far from luxury.

Great Breakfast, love laminate carpet gives me heebie jeebies. Our room was clean, loved the bathroom. No security cameras in parking lot. Multiple cars broken into over night.

Paid for parking 20$ a night when we got back to the hotel there was no where to park and the lady told me to go find somewhere. We ended up parking a mile away and still had to pay for this hotels parking.

Parking was a problem, I checked in on a Thursday night, next day went out couldn’t find parking and they made me and other 2 cars park a few blocks away from the hotel, I found that inconvenient and having to walk there and back when U’re going out in the cold weather and also the fact that u have to pay 20 dollars a night which was 45$ total after taxes for 2 nights is just ridiculous tbh. Barely had towels ready in the room too. But housekeeping lady was really nice and got everything for us the next day.

Horrible bed mattress they need to replace it right away. Room is clean n spacious. Toilet is clean n big. Pls change the mattress.
