Hotels near Jinan School Monument, Nanjing

The location was excellent, and the open facilities were very good. I understand it's a ”China thing” that prevents outdoor swimming pools from being open to the public other than July - August - but it's ridiculous and one that a 5-star hotel should change. You advertise having an indoor and outdoor pool; however, 85% of the entire year, it is closed.... so how can you say you have an outdoor pool? It's false advertising. It was 32 degrees this weekend and perfect weather for the outdoor pool, but you didn't have it open - thus, I took away two stars on facilities. The service in the restaurant was EXCELLENT on the 45th floor, extremely good and well worth the 5stars; the front desk people also on the 1st floor incredible; however, the service in the (the indoor!!!) swimming pool was extremely average - feeling like being served from student intern vs. any 5star customer service at all. The service in the bar on the 78th floor was highly average. also, for 5star, with us having to ask for drinks and not a single smile when serving the drinks, while the 78th-floor views are breathtaking, the service was let down. Last but not least, our parents-in-law traveled with us and rang the front desk for help with the TV. They rang twice, and they were waiting for someone to help them. I have stayed at Intercontinental Hotels in other locations, and the service is always very good. While some departments at this location were good, they needed to be more balanced by the inconsistency of the other departments.

This time I was traveling with my parents. I saw that Crystal Orange had family rooms and the prices were very good, so I made a reservation. I originally wanted to book a hotel near Xinjiekou, but the hotels nearby were a bit old. Later I found out that this hotel had just opened. Soon, the reviews were very high, so I chose it directly. I originally wanted to give it a try, but I didn’t expect that I was very satisfied with it. The room was spacious and bright, and my parents liked it very much. The brothers and sisters at the front desk were very kind and made me feel good. The room aunt is also very clean. If she finds anything missing, she will make it up in time. The view of the breakfast is also very good. The breakfast is really good for a hotel at this price. The only thing is that I hope the restaurant can be improved. The service still needs to be improved. For example, when guests leave the table before finishing their meal, do not come directly to collect the tableware. For example, the lady who ordered an extra bowl of wonton noodles kept looking at it as if she could eat it so well. This made my mother It was very uncomfortable. I also enlightened my mother, so there was no complaint. It was not easy for anyone, so everyone understood each other, but I still hope that we can follow up on the service of the restaurant, so that the hotel will get better and better in the future, but A little hiccup is nothing. When we checked out, the lady at the front desk gave us warm water and duck blood vermicelli soup, packed it in a bag and took it away for us. Thank you very much! Wish you better and better!

This feels more like a 4* hotel. Hotel is located 10-12mins walk from subway EXIT 3. Was offer free room upgrade. In early April, hotel has no central A/C. Room is hot and stuffy. Hotel replied A/C is off during the season can only provide standing fan.

The hotel's a bit old. We need to extend our stay, and the price is more expensive than on Trip.

The damage was good. The service attitude was very good. I was enthusiastic and satisfied. I will come again next time. I was also very satisfied with the food.

This hotel’s location is really good. It is located right next to a major shopping mall with lots of good restaurants and stores. It’s located within walking distance from Xuanwu Gate 玄武门 and Xuanwu Lake 玄武湖. It’s right next to a subway that provides easy access to other parts of Nanjing like the Nanjing Museum 南京博物院 or the Confucian Temple area 夫子庙. The rooms were clean and everything in it felt high quality. The view of Nanjing from my room was beautiful. Although the hotel staff are very friendly, I marked the service and amenities as 4/5 for a few reasons. First, laundry is relatively expensive whereas at Atour 亚朵 it’s free. If i remember correctly, they wanted me to pay 35 or so rmb per article of clothing. Secondly, the hotel allows delivery of takeout but they do not send it to your room like they do at Atour 亚朵. You have to go to the lobby and pick it up yourself. These are the only two things that stop me from giving all 5/5s. Other than that, I loved this hotel especially for its location and comfortable rooms. If you dont care about doing laundry or having takeout ordered directly to your room, then those two criticisms are relatively minor things. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel regardless.

The hotel is very close to the subway entrance, 2 minutes away, the room is clean and bright, the bed is very comfortable, my favorite breakfast includes black rice, red beans, Fang Yuan Xiao, which is made by myself without any additives, very delicious, as soon as you enter the restaurant, you can feel the sanitation of the environment, the clean dishes, and the warm and thoughtful service

Hotel location was excellent. Service was superb Gym is very good as well as the pool I would like in particular to thank the lifeguard Mr. Paul Lv and the gym staff Mrs Jennie Chen

The hotel is a rather old-fashioned one, despite the room design, the staff were super duper nice and friendly. It would be better if the hotel can provide room service until midnight. There were not much meituan food choices after 1100, it would be great if the hotel can provide some refreshing room service food at night. On the other hand, we thought it would be an good idea if the hotel can use roborts to deliver the take aways ( meituan ) to the rooms. it was pretty cold and kinda insecure for customers to get down stairs and take their orders at the entrance. Lastly, we really wanna thanks the staff as we forgot to bring our cards down stairs, it was more than delighted when the staff arranged a supplemental card for us. In a forseable future, this hotel will always be my first priority when visitng Namjing.

Awesome location and extraordinary services!! Especially when we need to change the room from our first booking to second booking (with different family members so we have 3 different bookings), REN JUN DANIEL provided extraordinary services!! This hotel is the first Hilton (changed to Grand Metro now) in Nanjing, 10 minute from Zhong Shan Landmarks, close to every where. Although not brand new, but the services and location make up every thing. Buffet breakfast has all kinds of different style gourmet, and changing every day. Beautiful view from the window!
