It’s the second time we visited the hotel. It’s location is just beautiful at the entrance of the old quarter in Nanjing. At day or night you can see wonderful streets and the hotel garden is beautiful as well.
This time the service was a bit slow and incomplete. They also mixed up the rooms a bit and the English level can be improved. The breakfast was okay and of good quality but a bit basic - for the high price it could have been better.

Hotel is within walking distance to many attractions in Nanjing (Fuzi Temple, Old East Gate) and these places turn incredibly stunning at night. Facilities, cleanliness and amenities are what you would expect at a 5 star hotel and it is within the confines of a traditional picturesque garden which guests can access 24/7. Slightly disappointed that the Chinese Opera Show is only available on Fridays and Saturdays.

I am very satisfied with choosing the Jieziyuan Hotel as soon as the summer vacation started! It happened that the above Tunbao was in Nanjing. The hotel upgraded us to the Nanyuan Specialty Room. The hotel decoration is antique. The staff is warm and thoughtful. The hotel breakfast is also rich and fresh, and the taste is also very good! The fried eggs and duck offal vermicelli soup are made on the table by scanning the code and ordering, and the taste is delicious! Li Yu's Leisurely Feelings in each room records the lifestyle of literati 300 years ago. It seems that we are also slowly experiencing it in a cup of tea, a meal, and a fruit. I will choose here next time I come to Nanjing
