On the day I arrived - they seemed to have been facing electrical problems for past week. So lifts, doors, and electricity in rooms were not working properly. It appeared to have been resolved on the day I left.
I booked because of closeness to airport and train station. They offer complimentary pick up and drop off. They were very nice to offer a late checkout until I left for the airport.
Has a big gym, a nice pool and pretty good breakfast. Be aware that there is literally nothing around the hotel - so you can’t really go for a walk or just go grab something to eat.

Pros - very close to the airport (closest?), new hotel, free shuttle, lovely staff, yummy room service meal, reasonable value for a five star hotel, lots of security measures
Cons - no room service menu in room, despite checking twice they hadn't arranged the shuttle back to the airport however they did sort it out and I left more or less on time as planned. Pick up shuttle also wasn't there when I arrived

This is a new hotel near Nairobi Airport, opened by Chinese, it is really good, the environment, facilities, hygiene are all in place, and the breakfast is also rich. If I come next time, I will stay in this hotel again. I stayed for three days. Recommended!

This was my second time staying and it’s just wonderful!! I’ve been at many of the hotels near the airport and this one is just the best. They are so good to their clients and make you feel right at home. This is my go to hotel when I land in Nairobi from now on

Although ******* suggested the room could sleep four, the check-in staff made sure we understood this was not the case (living room sofa in exec suite was not a sleeper). This wasn’t a concern as reason for booking was day room until late-night departing flight. Room was well appointed with smart controls and luxurious bathroom. Had lunch and dinner at outdoor “sports bar” seating. Slow service at lunch and wait staff had difficulty operating payment device, but both meals were excellent (food choices and quality surpass the hotel across the street). Made use of the large pool as well as fitness center. Excellent shuttle service to JKIA with helpful driver. Departed feeling refreshed ahead of long flight. Hope to stay again.

I recommend Argyle to anyone coming to Nairobi, the staff is above and beyond the other hotels in the area that I have stayed at and they have great food! We will be back again and will use the pool and gym!

Rooms and hospitality 5*.
So sorry but I have to coment some services that could improve;
- The pool restaurant service takes time, at first they wana convince us to go to buffet lunch but we insist on having lunch ala cart at pool, they say it will take time and it did but I don't see the reason for that delay.
Next, we wanted to order wine from the wine list Pino Grigio, it turned out that they didn't have it, or they just didn't want to give it because of another idea. They convinced us to have some SA wine and they serve first bottle already opend, with strange test and we couldn't stop thinking it could be a scam. And it probbably was... cos the next bottle of the same wine, served from another waiter was still closed and chilled when served was sth totaly different, much like we expected to be for the first bottle. Next we have to order the bottled water 4 times before arrive after half an hour or so. At the time there were 12 guests sitting at the restaurant, so no crowds. On the other hand there were 5 weiters on the shift.
- There were no early breakfast boxes waiting for us on the time we supose to live the hotel as agreed and written down at check in. At the end we get those but not with agreed content half an hour later cos airport shuttle was late as well for half an hour

Was here on transit and made reservations for 2 rooms one for myself and one for a family member.
I paid for both rooms in full and notified the hotel to even send a car to collect my other guest.
They went ahead and charged my guest a 2nd time for the same room.
I have called them to notify them of the double charge and they are not responding to my email or returning calls.
Not happy ruined an otherwise positive experience.
