Golf View Hotel & Spa

The hotel is in a beautiful part of Nairn with wonderful views over the Moray Firth. We had a lovely relaxing stay for three nights. Service was bit slow at times, clearly down to low staffing numbers, but we had nowhere to be in a hurry so we went with the flow. We understand the current situation with staffing levels in hospitality. All staff were friendly and helpful as much as possible and you can’t ask for more than that of people working hard. We commend the room hospitality staff. Our room was cleaned to a high standard while we were at breakfast. It was so nice to go back to our freshened-up room. Our only slightly negative point: We were not allowed access to the Thermal Experience in the leisure centre. This is only available to those on Spa Days and Spa Packages. We had decided not to book a package, preferring to book dinner and spa treatments ourselves. We didn’t save any money doing this, it was just our preference. It seemed unfair that although we had dinner in the restaurant the three nights of our stay and we each booked a spa treatment, people on a day visit had access to these facilities and we did not. Overall, we had a very lovely time and would definitely recommend. We hope to return.
West End Hotel

Just back from staying in the West End Hotel Nairn and had a great weekend room spacious clean and tidy hotel very covid conscious was staying B&B my only negative was the breakfast although what you got was very good and freshly cooked to order choice was limited to 7 items from a possible 10 and it was either continental with juice, yogurt, cereal and porridge or a cooked breakfast of 7 items I would have liked fruit juice to start and only one slice of toast we were never offered more tea coffee or toast either day, don’t get me wrong what you got was excellent but limited I thought. On the second night we had dinner and I must admit we were spoiled for choice I chose the lasagne with garlic bread my wife had Chicken Stroganoff with rice we had a portion of homemade chips and homemade onion rings all was cooked to perfection really could not fault anything will definitely return in the future
Muthu Newton Hotel (Near Inverness Airport)

I've been coming to this hotel for around 20 years, initially on business and now for leisure, and I visit every few years. In that time not much has changed, apart from the ownership. The hotel is still a beautiful building set in tranquil and wonderful grounds. The downstairs interior is stately and is tastefully decorated with an elegant bar, Lounge and Restaurant. Staff on Reception are polite and helpful But the hotel isn't without its issues which are 1) The bedroom furniture has been the same on every visit over the last 20 years and is showing its age 2) The carpet in the room we were given was actually threadbare in places and isn't what you expect 3) The lady waiting tables at breakfast is a joy. She is attentive, polite and helpful. The same cannot be said of the older gentleman working there who is ignorant and ignores people waiting to be seated. There is no need to be so rude and dismissive of people of all nationalities who are basically paying his wages ! 4) My biggest grumble of all is the lack of a premium lager in the hotel bar. Under previous management in the early 2000's they used to stock 1664 but now it's Carling (yuk!), Guinness, Scots ale or Cider. I would have spent a lot more time in there had they stocked better beer. That's a real own goal and other guests are of the same opinion.
Club House Hotel & Restaurant

My Wife and I, and another couple stayed in the Clubhouse Hotel for a weekend visit to Nairn. We had a great stay and really enjoyed the Hotel. Our friends were given a room outside in the recently added ”extension” to the hotel. This was fine for them as they had their dog with them. We had Dinner in the hotel on two evenings and had no complaints about the food, although a Prawn Cocktail served on kale was a bit weird! The bar was nice and the staff were all friendly and helpful, Monica the barmaid was great and we had some laughs with her, hopefully she is settling into her job more easily every day after starting work at the Hotel quite recently. We have no complaints about the hotel and had a great stay. Will stay again if visiting Nairn. Thanks to all staff and management who made our stay very welcoming.
Westerlea Hotel

A friendly welcome to us and our dog on arrival. Our room was very comfortable and well supplied with coffee/tea/biscuits, lovely fluffy towels and it had very comfortable beds. Our breakfast was very good. We walked to the beach from our hotel and it was really beautiful there.
