This hotel is nothing like advertised!! There is absolutely nothing for my youngest children as they said there would be activities, kids club, play area and disco of a night time for them but there was absolutely nothing! You can’t get any type of room service after 11pm not even a kettle let alone tea or coffee in your room! You have to pay to use the facilities such as gym and spa which they do not state in their website whatsoever. The children’s play area was derelict and so was the outside bar broken tiles everywhere tripping and cutting Hazard!!!! Staff are not helpful whatsoever and hardly speak a word of English no Wi-Fi and no English Channels on the tv and if that doesn’t put you off you have to pay for your parking as well and I’ll tell you now it is far from cheap Me and my family felt so trapped that in the end we had to find a alternative accommodation Don’t go here waste of your money and time !!!

Rooms were simple and nice, apart from the bathroom that had many black hairs sprinkled around it throughout my stay (before and after cleaning). I put a do not disturb/clean sign on the door after my moisturiser went missing. Evening 'entertainment' included live bands in the evening until 11:30pm, and the walls are paper thin so you get a private concert! Food in the cafe was very average and expensive with not great vegetarian options, but the hotel breakfast was good. Staff overall were really friendly and nice.

We stayed here for 1 night. We had 2 movable beds on weels that didn't lock. No bedhead. So basic. Normal for a 2 star motel. We payed 250 euro. Lobby seating was worn down. It is in need of a total renovation. Pool area is oké. Were is the glamour gone to. Staff was oké but hopefully the owner will renovate the rooms

Just returned from a week at this hotel firstly can I just say this is a beautiful hotel rooms are lovely and clean and the swimming pool was lovely, we originally booked for bed and breakfast only but after arriving at the hotel realised that it is actually very far out so we upgraded to all inclusive unfortunately the buffet was very poor the food was always cold and hardly any choice atall then we decided to try the snack bar which looked lovely but was told we wasn’t allowed any food during lunchtime or teatime ( which is exactly when you want it !!) we wasn’t allowed a drink till after 11 and there are 2 other restaurants on site which we could only use if we paid for them it is honestly the worst all inclusive we have ever had so actually asked for a refund for the last 4 days . I honestly wouldn’t recommend this hotel to English it’s too far out from the shops and restaurants unless you have a car as a taxi is €60 return into Alicante, there is a few restaurants about 15 minutes walk and a small shop for essentials but that is literally all . We never really felt very welcome here I think it’s more for the Spanish they would always be served first and none of the staff speak much English.

Do not stay here if you are hoping for a luxury hotel. 3 nights of regret. Unsure why this is billed as luxury or 4 star. - dated decor, i wont post a zillion pics but just 2 to give you a taste. this was probably semi decent 20 years ago. - filthy room, stained ripped carpets, broken curtains which do not close. - poor, borderline dangerous fixtures & fittings which buzz constantly - no tea/coffee in room, bottled Water with stained flecked note left by some dingy smelly fridge - receptionist shockingly rude when we tried to enquire why on the 2nd night we were charged for table water we were told go back to the buffet. But the staff there could not speak english or French. We were then told reception had important guests coming and cannot speak to us…. there were a few people looking ready to check in. Rather than help us we were dismissed. Do not stay here. On the upside there was hot water!

Read the reviews before we arrived and was a little unsure, however I can only think that the people who wrote these negative reviews stayed in a different hotel or they want to keep the place exclusive to them. Please ignore any negative reviews the hotel was clean, bar staff are brilliant and the kids team work their socks off and no complaints about the food either. Yes it’s a little out the way but you can easily grab a cab into Alicante, a mini bus to the beach and there are some great bars and restaurants 5 mins up the road. Thank you all Team Bonalba you have done yourself proud.
