It’s very good, but enough issues to knock a star off. Lots of good things - very clean, modern room. Great shower. Good lighting. Comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast, with omelettes to order. Every sort of milk you could imagine (though except, oddly, we couldn’t find fresh - the one we thought was it was UHT!). Great gym on 14 floor. Internet lightning fast. The staff were friendly and gave you full attention when you were with them. Issues. Short staffed. On checkout, for example, only two staff, one of whom was on the phone … then the other could not get round an issue for a couple checking online, so had to be helped by the first. When a place is this swish, check in and out should be fast and slick. It wasn’t. Short staffed in the restaurant too: we’d booked a table but were ignored by the two staff who were covering the bar and the tables. A lot of tables and a long wait to be seated. Better training needed: at least greet and acknowledge the waiting guests. Restaurant food was ok. In the room: no access to the online hotel directory: reception didn’t really understand the problem and sent a spare remote up to us, then guessed maybe a software issue. No USB ports in the sockets, and none to loan (you could buy them apparently). (Tip: actually there there are two USB ports - on the back of the TV! They’re fiddly to reach but it can be done, and they charged a phone overnight).

When we checked in, we were told that the rooms were full due to the peak season. Our three rooms could not be adjacent to each other, but only on the upper and lower floors. I had no choice but to accept it because I was a little tired with my baby. But after moving all the luggage into the room, I found that it was not the room type I booked at all, and it was in the annex building! I immediately went back to the front desk to ask, and was told that other room types were indeed arranged because the room was fully booked? ! It was so funny. This was the first time I encountered someone who downgraded the room type without authorization, and we stayed in three rooms for 5 consecutive nights, and the room fee was paid in advance. The white guy at the front desk was very good and kept apologizing and explaining, but this wave of operations was a bit excessive, so I insisted on changing rooms. Later, he asked the manager and arranged the original room for us, and it was on the same floor.
Putting aside the unpleasantness of the stay, I was quite satisfied with other services of Westin. It is said that there is a subway at the entrance of the hotel, but I have not experienced it. It usually costs 20-30 euros to take a taxi to the scenic spot. The German restaurant downstairs tastes good, and it can be used as a canteen if you are too lazy to go out. In general, the price-performance ratio is OK
Located in the Zamdorf area of Munich, the NH München Messe hotel is an excellent choice for business travelers. The fairground and the International Congress Center are within a 15-minute drive and you can reach the A94, A99, and A8 highways in a matter of minutes. The bus stops right outside the hotel and gets you to Munich’s city center in about 20 minutes. The 253 rooms at NH München Messe are spacious and designed for your comfort as each has a pillow menu and is equipped with free Wi-Fi. Connecting rooms are available for groups and families. You will be love our daily fresh breakfast which offers a variety of food and beverage options, including local specialty sausages and cold cuts. Lunch and dinner are served at the hotel’s restaurant, where you can enjoy European and Bavarian cuisine in the stylish black leather seats. During the summer months, our friendly staff serves drinks and snacks in our Bavarian beer garden with a terrace. To unwind on a chilly afternoon, head to our lobby bar. There is also an on-site gym, and if you are holding a meeting, there are 9 function rooms that can accommodate up to 195 people.

The location is a bit biased, but the traffic is very convenient, the bus stop is at the entrance of the hotel. The bus can do 149/190 reverse to the city center, there is also dm on the road, in a large shopping mall, it is convenient. The hotel's internal facilities are very complete, there are vending machines, bar counters, etc. The interior space of the room is quite large and the bathroom conditions are good. Our room has a bathtub, but it is not used due to physiological problems, I don't know how to drain. The only bad thing is that the baffle on the side of the bathtub is not strict or wide enough. The water will always be sprinkled outside in the shower, and the experience is a bit bad.

If you are looking for a place with a similar price range and location, I highly recommend Aloft over Mercure. Location: close to Munich central station, but you can hear people screaming and yelling at night. Be careful walking on the street late. Staff: front desk staffs are not very welcoming but the attitude was acceptable. Other staffs are friendly. The two hotlines of the 24-hour manager and front desk never worked during my stay; no one answered on either line. Room: you can feel it's old. Although the room is in great condition, you can still feel its ”oldness.” The shower room has only half door, which is a weird design because you can splash water everywhere after showering and make a mess. The air conditioner and heater did not work. I tried to call the staff to help, but no one answered. And due to the malfunction of the air conditioner, the air was not circulated and felt very stuffy. The old room smell was getting stronger since there was no air conditioning.

The hotel has all that you need for comfort as a tourist. You are only a block away from the Munich Hbf so walking to the hotel with luggage was no problem. Proximity to the train station was essential for me since I used Munich as base while taking several train trips. The front desk staff is helpful and made it easy for someone who speaks very poor German. The rooms are sizeable by European standards and very comfortable. Fitness center was acceptable. You are about 4-5 long city blocks away from getting to Neuhauser Street and main shopping district (about another 3 blocks to Marienplatz) so if you mind the walking then maybe not the place for you, but I had no problem with it. Several restaurants within close walking distance (albeit not fine dining) and an Aldi's next door. One one hand nice to see a very diverse area in the immediate neighborhood, but also some sketch figures, but encountered no real problems (albeit a few odd visuals that I will not share). The breakfast was very good and I generally at eenough that lunch was not even a need or a consideration. Overall, well worth it.

It was my first time to come to Munich. Since I also needed to take a train to Passau, I chose the Le Méridien Hotel next to the Central Station. The hotel is in a great location and only needs to cross a road to the train station. It also leads to the city center business street, Munich City Hall and the Royal Palace. It only takes 10 minutes. In addition, the hotel's breakfast is very rich. I will choose to stay here next time.

Another Aweseome stay at the Aparthotel Adagio Munich. Loved just everything here. Have been here before. Stayed with the family for three nights before our vacation flight to explore the city. Staff is wonderfull, especially with kids. Everyone was so welcoming. Room was nice and tidy, spacious and equipped with everything you needed. We could even prepare small dishes for our Baby Boy. We will definitely be back soon.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Sofitel Munich. The room we were staying at 425 had a nice spacious room with many amenities. All the staff were very friendly especially Manager Mr. Umut was very accommodating and very helpful. He was always greeting us with a smile and took care of all our needs and requests. The bar was also very luxurious with many nice cocktails. We will miss Sofitel and will definitely come back next year!

Room is very small and a bit stuffy, there’s no air conditioner, neither fridge. Please bring your own bathing soaps and necessities before you come.
Breakfast is fair. Anyways, the room is clean and tidy, staff are nice and helpful!

This hotel is very new and visually appealing. The front desk team is quite fabulous and friendly. I think the entire team, including the M Club lounge team and bar team honestly made this property memorable. They did a great job hiring fabulous people. I was hesitant to book here from previous reviews but am somewhat glad I did. There’s two grocery stores nearby, the bar has decent food and the club lounge actually has very decent wine selections plus champagne during brunch. I never ate dinner at the club lounge though. Proximity to downtown and tourist attractions was decent. My biggest complaint is regarding their AC. Our room’s AC wasn’t very efficient. I phoned down asking for some fans, but was advised they didn’t have any. They sent an engineer up who verified the AC was working properly. I assumed they simply didn’t have strong AC in the rooms. We slept uncomfortable every night. When we actually visited our friends’ rooms, their AC was much stronger. I requested a room change but was advised they were fully committed due to Adele, which is why we were in town. I believe they should have adequate AC in every room or have fans as a back up. The club lounge also was severely understaffed every evening. There was one night where we went up for drinks around 9pm. It was crowded with only one server working. It was clear he was working as efficiently as he could, but there were simply too many people in the lounge for him. After going out to nearby bar, we returned around 1:30am to the lounge to grab some waters. The gentleman was still working diligently trying to set up the lounge for breakfast. Overall, stunning property aesthetically. Great team for the few people they do have. They honestly just need to hire more people for every department.

GGuest UserWhile the hotel stay was comfortable and the rooms a nice and clean we found the front desk staff rude and unhelpful. From the start they have shown no courtesy, I called up the hotel from the station to inquire about the location and landmark and found the person speaking to me couldnt care less about giving directions. Then when we arrived there, there was no one at the front desk. Since there are two Holiday Inns adjacent to each other we were confused as to which one is ours and kept the cab waiting to check. Finally we had to let the cab go as not one was there to answer our query. After a long wait the lady manning the front desk finally emerged from the cabin and was very rude with us. She couldnt find our reservation, we had to panic call the booking.com customer service and incurred a huge mobile bill for the international call only so that we could confirm our booking. She insisted we had not paid for our rooms and we had to argue and show proof of payment. Any query we had about the hotel amenities or sightseeing were unhelpfully answered. The person who looks after the snacks corner was the only congenial and courteous person. The hotel is within walking distance of a train station and the bus stop is right outside the drive way, There are some good restaurants about 5- 7 minutes walk from the hotel. Lidl is a stones throw away so are a few other grocery stores. Once you get the hang of the place its pretty convenient. The only reason why the rating is average is because the hotel is good and the rooms were comfortable and neat. Otherwise only based on their customer service it would be poor.
GGuest UserHotel is located a bit away from marienplatz and the downtown shopping area . It isn”t a problem because public transportation is at your front door . taxis and the train station are near by . The hotel staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived . Pia and Jan in the restaurant took excellent care of us at dinner ,food was tasty and nicely presented . The breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty with a good selection to get your day started . Our room was clean , well maintained and quiet . Would definety stay again if we return to Munich . Thanks for a great stay !
My stay at the hotel was greatly affected by the Afro-American receptionist who worked from morning till afternoon on 29 May. I booked the most expensive Signature room and paid 150 EURO/night. I arrived at the hotel around 11.50am, the room was free, as were many other Signature rooms in the hotel. But the lady at the reception told me I had to pay 20 EURO if I wanted to go to the room now. Considering that many rooms, including mine, were free and I was paying a lot of money for one night, I expected better service and the ability to check in earlier. The room itself was extremely noisy due to construction work going on in the building next door. The table, the chair, the room itself literally vibrated a lot, I felt it physically and it was a very uncomfortable feeling. I went to the reception and asked the same lady to change the room. After 25 minutes of waiting (!) she gave me room 601, which faced the construction site. I thought the lady was pulling my leg. I went back to reception, waited 10 minutes for the receptionist to finish her casual conversation with a colleague and informed her that this room was much worse than the previous one (605). She said there was nothing she could do for me. I kept asking her about other rooms on the floor and asked her to give me room 609, for example. She said it was reserved for a ”special guest” who had not yet arrived. I did not know what to say. This lady showed zero willingness to help, zero knowledge of conflict management and simply does not understand that her job as a receptionist is to make sure guests are happy. Why do you put people on reception who have no basic knowledge of hospitality? So I stayed in the same room. Then my room card did not work. I had to go back to reception. I waited more than 20 minutes for the lady to give me another card. For 20 minutes she was looking for someone at the computer and only when I asked her ”How long do I have to wait” did she give me the card. Perhaps she is doing this on purpose because I do not believe that she cannot use the computer and that it takes her 25 minutes to change the room card. In general, this receptionist is extremely slow. The room should be cleaned better: there were lips from other guests on the cups. There were no slippers in the room. The food in the restaurant Casa da Nina was not good: for a pizza for 15 euros it is not acceptable to use cheap pizza dough from the supermarket. And that is exactly what was done in the restaurant. In general, I will not stay in this hotel again and I will not recommend it to colleagues or friends. P.S. The room should have been 40 sqm. It was much less than 40 sqm.
GGuest UserThis hotel was one of the best we have stayed at. We loved the room. Ours came with a little kitchen area. We felt like we were staying in a modern episode of “tiny house”. The lobby area is large and inviting. We were meet by a friendly and accommodating staff who meet all our our needs. Wonderful stay!
TTraveler 123Let's start with the spa - an oasis of relaxation and rejuvenation. From the moment I stepped into the tranquil haven of the Vier Jahreszeiten Spa, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of serenity and well-being. The spa facilities are impeccable, featuring a range of treatments and therapies that cater to every guest's needs. The expert therapists displayed a deep understanding of their craft, ensuring a customized and revitalizing experience. After indulging in one of their signature massages, I felt completely refreshed and invigorated. The spa's attention to detail and commitment to providing a sanctuary of calmness was truly impressive.
As for the location, Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski is a true gem in the heart of Munich. Situated on the prestigious Maximilianstrasse, it offers an ideal home base for exploring the vibrant city. From the hotel, you can easily reach Munich's iconic attractions, designer boutiques, and renowned dining establishments. The convenience of being able to stroll through the historic city center or simply step outside to admire the beauty of Maximilianstrasse made my stay even more enjoyable. It's a testament to the hotel's commitment to offering guests the best of Munich right at their doorstep.
The overall experience at Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski was nothing short of exceptional. The luxurious accommodations, attentive staff, and attention to detail throughout the property were all factors that contributed to a memorable stay. The blend of classic elegance and modern amenities created an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere, which I found to be both comfortable and inspiring.
In conclusion, Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich is a top-tier hotel that truly understands the art of hospitality. The remarkable spa and the unbeatable location in the heart of Munich set it apart as a destination that caters to travelers seeking a perfect balance of relaxation and exploration. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to experience the best of Munich in a luxurious and welcoming setting.
Had a most enjoyable stay at the Drei Löwen in Munich Location is absolutely excellent at the hauptbanhof with ease of access to all U and S bahn . Great team of staff at reception that were very helpful Raymonda was very professional and helpful in the way she dealt with customers. Ben was exceptional in the way he followed up and dealt with any queries we had Room was lovely and clean. Breakfast each morning was excellent with a great choice particularly the omelet made by the chef to your taste in front of you Overall this is a fantastic hotel as its location lends itself so well to exploring Munich the Marianplatz is just a leisurely walk from it Well done to all at the hotel .
白白色的玉石Hear me out: this hotel has THE BEST - meaning most professional - service I have ever encountered in any hotel - and I say it from my experience from staying at 4-5 stars hotels as a general rule.
Regarding service:
- ALWAYS replying to every email (unfortunately letters sometimes land in a spam folder, a little flaw)
- 24/7 there’s always someone at the reception ready to assist (mind it’s not a branded hotel, but a family-owned business), making sure that there aren’t any unsolved problems or unsatisfied needs
- all website-provided informations are up to date
- there’s a shuttle bus from a train station for guests (till 5pm)
- staff is perfectly trained and experienced. There’s never any personal attitude, just a smile and clear communication. Of course speaking well English.
- Bonus: I arrived quite before check-in hours and checked out a bit late too; didn’t have to say a word and no word was said (or called). Even got an advise how to efficiently manage my luggage for my next trip.
Location: a bit far from train & metro stations.
Amenities: a very big swimming pool! And a sauna, and a gym. Downside is that those amenities are in a neighbouring building, so if you’re still wearing your swimming suit, you need to walk on a pedestrian path for two minutes like this. It feels weird. But there are lockets, showers and fresh towels too, if you prefer to change your clothes first.
Concluding: best combination of price, location, fun, and quality.
GGuest UserThis hostel is awesome. The staff are really helpful and accommodating. We came a few hours before the check in time (1500 hrs) and we were greeted, checked in and shown somewhere to securely leave our luggage while they prepared our rooms. The room itself (ours was a 10 person) is clean, with clean sheets and a very clean en-suite bathroom/shower. The rooms have air conditioning, however it was very warm at the time of our visit so I think it was struggling. Nonetheless the room felt homely and has a locker to put your valuables/clothes in (like a football locker). The breakfast is a continental breakfast priced at €8. There are many meats and cheeses along with: cereal, bread, fruit, yoghurt, juices, coffee and scrambled eggs. The breakfast is a buffet so you can really make the most of it for €8 per person. The bar area itself is very nicely decorated, and run by very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend this hostel to everyone. Wether you’re looking to chill out or party this hostel has everything. Would like to say a huge thanks to Kimom and Giorgos in particular. They made our visit extremely fun and provided many suggestions as to where we should go/ avoid. I have no doubts the rest of the staff are the same, but these guys made it extra special. Thanks dudes!
MmagcianxuBooked during the European Cup, the price is a bit expensive. The room is a bit small, close to the subway station, convenient for watching the game. There is nothing to eat nearby, only a McDonald's, and you need to take the bus or drive to the big supermarket.
would give a zero if I could. Currently in the reception with nowhere to go, where we've been for well over two and a half hours. Our rooms (which were paid for through ******* in October, and have twice had written confirmation) have been given to other people. The receptionist says he can do nothing without authorisation from the Manager, who won't answer her phone. He's refused to do anything to assist. He is now going to lock up and leave is in reception with nowhere to sleep. Took 15 hours to get here from Heathrow today, and this is how it's ended up. Worst experience in a hotel EVER. Update: Reception found us rooms in a sister hotel at 12:15am. Only 200 hundred yards away, but surely these had been available since we'd arrived in Munich? Room was ok and were still able to have breakfast, which was fine enough. Manager of the Belle Blue was apologetic and gave us a suite for the rest of our stay, which consisted of two bedrooms (one with ensuite), a shower room and lounge with kitchen area. It was sparse but nice. Breakfast each morning was quite good for continental and the staff were friendly and always cleaning. As people have said before, the area isn't the nicest but it's not a big deal. It's not far to the Underground and bus station, and there is a fabulous microbrewery/restaurant next door. I would consider going again.
