It's an old hotel, so you can't see 5 stars. You have to know that foreign 5 stars can't compare with domestic ones. The facilities are relatively old, the location is good, and the breakfast is okay. It's okay to stay occasionally
Steigenberger Hotel Muenchen

Arriving at 9am after our long haul flight from Australia it was excellent to be able to access our room straight away. Our family of 5 booked 2 rooms for a 3 night stay. Located in a quite part of Munich it was an easy 5 minute walk to public transport into town. Room, spa and breakfast were as expected. Overall was a good stay.

Hauptbahnhof
The hotel is at the opposite of the main train HBF but depends with entrance you come out. We blessed that the breakfast provides Prosecco on Sat & Sun free flow from 6-11am. And of course wide spread of breakfast, mainly bread. We enjoyed our stay

Excellent service from concierge and reception despite Corona measures! Got an upgrade to a larger room. Unfortunately the hotel bar is still closed, but overall I was very happy with my stay.
