The location of the hotel is excellent because it take 5-10 minites from hotel to Kyoto station. It was very convenient for me if I am traveling to all the scenery nearby Kyoto. Food and beverages is available surrounding the hotel, you can just have a light breakfast and then start to travel to your destination of choices.

This is a no-frills, modern hotel (7-Eleven is next door). Our Twin Room was big and comfortable with a good-sized bathroom; a nice touch to have a fabric freshener spray near the coat hooks. It’s a walking distance to Omiya station along the Hankyu Line which includes Umeda (great for those coming from Osaka); close to downtown (Kawaramachi) where you can either walk or take the subway to attractions such as Nishiki Market (Shijo) and Gion (Gion-shijo).

Staff Are very attentive and quick, they are able to assist you in English too if you can't communicate in Japanese. Transport is easy as it is located about 10-15 minutes away from Kyoto Station which has Shinkansen/JR trains/bus available. Given a cozy room with various options of daily cleaning (none/basic/partial/full) main difference being if you want the bathtub to be washed / bed to be made, so you can hang it by your door to notify the crew accordingly.

Quite satisfied and great location for the price! Location is great and almost walkable to major parts of central Kyoto. For example Nishiki Market 1 minute (but overpriced), Karasuma and shopping streets 1 minute, Hankyu train line for going Osaka or other places just 6 minute, Big local shopping malls like Fresco and LIFE or Takashimaya store just 10 minute. Although the room is small, is convenient and bed was quite tall that myself as Big Caucasian 180+cm had no issue in size of bed. Shower and toilet also very clean and have all amenities included. Also the lobby is good to mingle or eat food as there is microwave available. The luggage can be kept free-of-charge after checkout if have Suica. Breakfast is a bit simple and at Datour. not bad, but maybe can take without breakfast for more flexibility.

Stayed at Kyoritsu Resort for the first time other than La Vista. Put your shoes in the clog box at the entrance like a Japanese-style ryokan. It goes straight up on the tatami mat.
