Hotel William Gray

I love this hotel nestled in the heart of Old Montréal and Old Port. I had a great room with a wonderful corner view of Old Montréal, it’s rooftops, the Grande Roue and the little cafes and boutiques below. Room is very comfortable. I love the long modern working desk, the comfy lounge chair, plush bedding and above all the spa multi jet shower… Because of pandemic restrictions most of the amenities of the hotel were not accessible. The hotel has such a nice lounge and bar area but I couldn’t go there. The gym was also off limits. There is an outdoor courtyard that was advertised as open even in the winter with fire pits but it wasn’t accessible during my stay. My only complaint would be that my room was drafty but I also stayed on one of the coldest weekends of the year and I could adjust the heat in the room. I asked for a throw blanket to cuddle in while reading in the lounge chair. They brought me the cuddliest faux fur blanket, I was almost thankful for the draft. Can’t wait for my next opportunity to stay here. In my opinion, this hotel is more geared towards adults (solo/business/couples/adult getaways) rather than families with young children. It has a high-end, modern, chic vibe. However, I’m quite sure they would accommodate children too. Photos don’t do the view justice. They were taken during a snow storm with poor visibility. Under normal conditions, was really nice and at night, so beautiful with all the lights and illuminated Grande Roue.

Stayed at March break. Nice property in an excellent location. No amenities available such as hot tub or steam room unless you paid to use the spa.

This boutique hotel is amazing and did not disappoint. The guest services were so friendly and kind. They let us check in early. The design is modern and trendy. The beds were comfortable and the shower had more jets than I could even figure out. Its in Old Montreal and close to everything by foot. Just perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Unfortunately there were protests going on outside of the hotel when we arrived so we had a more difficult time parking but later in the evening the valet went and got our car from where we parked for us and it was smooth sailing from there. The staff was very friendly including our waitress at Maggie oaks! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Montreal !

Excellent service. Clean place. Spacious and well equipped gym. Connected to a great coffee place.

Great location in old town and a nice hotel. I wasn't impressed with the lack of food options (room service stops at 11) as we arrived late in the evening. The front desk staff didn't seem to care, and told us that there were chips in the room. Hallways doors were loud and woke us up several times.

Check in attendant did give a great explaining of property or location. Shower had a leak. Room assigned was faxing a roofline with no view.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was so kind and helpful. We enjoyed a cocktail while relaxing in the Living Room after an amazing meal at Maggie Oakes. The location of the hotel is perfect, and the valet parking was incredibly convenient. We would absolutely stay again!
