Good location in central London. Very clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect. The rooms are a bit older. The cupboards are no longer the latest either. Rather borderline for a five star hotel. Bed and mini bar quite ok. The bathroom was nice and big but also outdated. Room service was very good. For a five star hotel it is a 7/10.

Fantastic location on a very historic street . The building itself is beautiful and very interesting but I feel the hotel could do a lot more with the lobby and the Bar area which is lifeless and cold in a**osphere. The food is very poor and after eating one night I ate out every other night . The breakfast is also very poor . Pastries not fresh , and the buffet offering is similar to a 3 star hotel. Service levels at reception are ok . The rooms are small but are full of character. Overall the biggest selling point is the location and I feel the uniqueness of the hotel is not utilised enough and they could do a lot better with more effort and more vision .

Excellent five stars hotel at the heart of Financial District of London. Very friendly and helpfull staff . Everything in complete harmony with the more than 150-year-old architecture of the building. The real value of this hotel was the people who made you feel at home. The breakfast was served with class and quality. Everything was fresh and the staff were ready to fulfill every request of the customers. Definitely an ideal match between price and quality.

This is my “go to” hotel for business in London. Wonderful location, beautiful lobby, nice breakfast and bar, and large, modern rooms with very comfy beds and high-end bathrooms. The service is always impeccable, making my visit effortless. Maurizio is a real gem — attends to your every need (including your welcome Prosecco) and is always welcoming and pleasant. I cannot recommend this hotel any more highly.

Always a treat to stay here. From the moment I walk in and see the beautiful dome, it makes me smile. The staff are always lovely. Sitting in the lobby with an old fashioned is a joy. It is an oasis of calm and luxury in a glorious part of the city. The rooms are quiet and have everything you need. And I always find it is much better value than many other hotels in the area.
