The service was impeccable at the hotel! Easy checkin, and the breakfast service was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The Hotel is nestled back within the hill and a 14 minute walk to the train—great access. My only concern was our bed and pillows reeked of cigarette smoke. I couldn’t sleep the first night and had to buy allergy medicine in order to sleep the 2nd night. With paying such a low price for the hotel, you’re not expecting the 4 seasons, but smoke free mattresses and pillows should be included. Besides that, the hotel would have been perfect!

Many Ligurian localities have the railway line that runs close to the sea and this greatly damages the landscape and the usability of the sea. Lavagna is one of these, which leads me to label the review "uncomfortable". For the rest, the structure is a little old with renovated rooms.

Beautiful and comfortable by the sea....it just needs a bit of refreshment...beautiful panoramic solarium terrace....parking is there but a little difficult....improve air conditioning....we had a good time thanks

Beautiful and comfortable structure, quality meals, excellent hospitality, the family that runs it is nice and friendly, the owner is kind, ready to satisfy customer requests, an art expert and excellent advisor for places to visit. The hotel is a typical and classic hotel from many years ago but its rooms have been modernized. The room is very nice: spacious, with TV and balcony and deckchairs. the bathroom, although without a window, was spacious and with everything you need. The food is good, the chef is good!! every day, lunch and dinner, there is a fish dish. The only "flaw": the lady who cleans and tidies the room came in 3 times without knocking with us still inside... Price for 2 nights in half board is expensive but within the norm of prices in Liguria. Still a good 3 stars
