Horrible experience at the hotel. besides the bed and frequently used areas, I can see dust on the walls and corners of the room.
The 6 nights no cleaning policy is horrible.
The only benefit you get is the washing machine. Bathroom has the old mouldy smell. They assigned my room to another person because I checked in late and I got a shocked when I opened the door that there were belongings inside. The staff were running to me to change the keycard. As it was cold there’s only heat function, I had to open the window for cold air.
Price is reasonable for such standards but I wouldn’t recommend if you can’t stand too much dust left over by the past tenants.

This hotel has wonderful costumer services and the employees speak many languages. Right up the street there is a 7/11 store for all your snack run, there are cafe and restaurant within walking distance. The Karasuma-Oike station is literally 3-5 minutes walk. The best part is the traveler’s store that is about a 10 min walk. I been wanting to go there and finally got to visit it. This store has stationary items such as notebooks that can have you record your journey.

Great location near subway (2 lines) and only 3 stops from Kyoto station.
The view was nice from the 7th floor.
Washing machine in the room is a plus. There even is some kind of trousers press in the room.
Unfortunately there was no free bed linens change during my 6 day stay. I had to pay for one (not very expensive though). Also the breakfast could be better.

We had a great experience staying in this hotel.Our room has everything including Microwave and washing machine😍. Nice interior,comfortable beds and all the staff are very polite and kind. We had the best breakfast eveyday!! Both japanese and western food are available. I booked 3 hotels during our Japan trip and Tokyu Stay Karasuma is no.1.😁

The location is ordinary, not very close to the station or bus stop, but still affordable
Most train stations in Japan don't have escalators, so be prepared to walk a long way to find an elevator, or take your luggage up the stairs
The staff can speak English well, help when needed to ask about hotel facilities

There was a hair in the bath tub, but the people are very nice and polite. Amenities are quite extensive: apart from the usual stuff you could also grab bath sponge and cotton pad with a hairtie. It’s close to the metrostation, but the neighbourhood is really quiet. If you prefer something more lively, another place is more suitable

Room was big and convenient with own washing machine and dryer. Location is within 5 mins walk from subway and there are convenience store, fast food and other eateries nearby. Overall, good stay. Recommended.

The hotel is near a subway line, and there are two 7-11 convenience stores nearby. The location is great, and the hotel room is big and clean. I’m satisfied with the price and the quality provided. The breakfast is good too. I will definitely come back if I visit Kyoto again.
