A very nice hotel with friendly service in a good location. It is between two stations on two different lines of the subway with an easy walk about 10-15 minutes either way. There are also a lot of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk or a short cab ride. The hotel buffet breakfast had a lot of choices with both Chinese and western dishes and very good service. The room was very large and clean and comfortable. Tv had English news channel and the Wi-Fi worked well although I seemed to only be able to log in one device using the same phone number to get a code. The front desk staff spoke English and were very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

This was an absolutely lovely stay. The room was clean, and when the staff cleaned the room while I was out, they went above and beyond, organizing everything, and everything perfect. The staff was fantastic and very attentive, especially Sherry Aaron (thank you so much for everything!). Location, staff, rooms were all wonderful. Highly recommend.

I thought this hotel was good value for money, considering its 5 stars and location in downtown Kunming. The room was spacious and the bathroom was well appointed, with a lovely bath(with very hot water which I often find lacking) and a shower with great water pressure. The only downsides were that I found the room itself(not the bathroom) to be a bit outdated in terms of the fixtures and fittings. Also, the gentleman who checked me in wasn’t particularly friendly. He couldn’t speak English(which is not a problem at all, although I would expect it in a five star hotel) but he didn’t say a word to me throughout the entire check in process until he gave me my key. There’s much more to communication than just language and I felt his customer service skills were a bit lacking considering his position on a reception desk.

The location of the hotel is very good, right in the city center and within walking distance from the old street. It is also very clean. The room is very good and the bedding is very comfortable. The breakfast is very rich. I like it very much. The staff is also very nice. Thank you to the front desk. The Hotel is located in the center of Kunming. Two metro lines just nearly. One line direct deserve the airport and the other one direct rich the south railway station. By foot one can go to the historical city center. We booked the suite 2026 which is very spacious with big windows, overview the city. The decoration is outdated. The bed is pretty old. Sometimes the AC doesn’t work well. Breakfast is very good. All the stuff are very helpful and friendly. Overall is not a real 5 stars hotel but the price is very fair for what you get.

It’s really the feeling of an old hotel that can’t be old enough to be responsible for conference training. The decoration is very old, the rooms are very old, and the facilities are very old. The advantage is that the parking at the door is convenient. There is also a self-raising point for the Shenzhou special car. It is convenient to return the car. It is not far from Cuihu. The price is cheaper than the whole season next door, but the price is really not high. We need to return the car from Jianshui. The whole season next door is full and there is no way to bother to carry luggage. I have to choose this one. The Orange Hotel is good but not perfect. It was well-located (near shops, restaurants and Green Lake) and clean but we had some minor problems with the service and the facilities. It took persistence and two maintenance visits to fix the fridge, and the lighting was unnecessarily complex and unintuitive. There was also no direct lighting for the dining table, so we had to eat in the dark. Finally, even if not perfect, the Orange Hotel was great value and we would happily stay there again.

I think the hotel's service is a bit rigid. It was only on the day of departure that I saw that the hotel had airport pick-up service, so I immediately contacted the front desk, but the front desk told me that I had to contact it 24 hours in advance. I felt that the service was very rigid for such a big hotel. , there is no B&B that is humane. The hotel room is small, but the environment inside is pretty good and the hygiene seems to be very clean. The hotel is very close to Green Lake. It only takes 5 or 6 minutes to walk to this location. I am very satisfied with it. (I have to complain that Ctrip’s hotels are more expensive than those booked on Qunar.com. Now that I have experienced both, I feel that the software usage process is smoother)

Maybe the best Service that i have ever experienced . We have made a wechat group and the hotel stuff was always ready to reply every of my question, helped with locations in the city , even told me the location of H&M :) About the hotel: I SLEPT WELL (what is not usual in a hotel) The walls are thick so u never hear someone aisle. Bed is the perfect softness , mattresses are new, pillows too! The amenities of the hotel are in a very cool retro style. The Wai Mai ( food delivery) is very quick to this location. My overall experience of this hotel is five star ⭐️ I repeat again the most important thing that you need from a hotel is a good well rested night sleep and you get it here, i have stayed 8 nights ! Enjoy !

It was a well maintained and trustworthy hotel. I could feel professionalism in hotel management here. The restaurant was great, too. But I wish I could have had a green lake view from my room. I only saw houses and buildings. One thing I would like to suggest to the hotel is to remove an ash tray and a match box which most guests do not need, but some guests might be tempted to smoke.

You'd want to stay here for the location, just northwest of the hotel is a street with a bunch of breweries and restaurants, including Salvadors, an American-opened restaurant/pub that all the foreigners go to and has a great vibe for someone looking for a more lovely atmosphere and solid Western food. The hotel is on the north side of cuihu lake which is nice to walk around and also hosts Yunnan University, though you need to register thru a qr code to enter the university. Hotel room itself was quite small but fair for its price. Citigo is like a boutique small office hotel, there's a meeting room downstairs you can book for meetings or just work out of, and a small bar/cafe you can order drinks from. At night around ten? Or eleven pm they serve Yunnanese noodles. Lounge area outside the hotel lobby is large and overlooks the lake, nice spot for remote workers like me and you can grab some beers from the bar. Would definitely use for my next visit to Kunming, largely for the location which can't be beat.

I had a trip with my girlfriend in Kunming. The hotel was introduced by a friend. The hotel is clean and hygienic. The service is very good. The hotel is also very close to some commercial districts. The shampoo is very easy to use. The air conditioner is very cool too! The only suggestion: the wood between the bed and the sofa surrounds the bedside table. The edges and corners of the bedside table are sharp. It’s possible that the girlfriend may bump into the bed from a close distance. It is more painful. I hope it can be improved (cover the hard edges and corners with soft glue ) All in all, the most cost-effective hotel. I will choose this one when I come to Kunming!

This is one of my all-time favorite hostels, and this is my second time there; my first was 10 years ago. I couldn't wait to go back. The neighborhood around Green Lake Park is so relaxing, but you are just a short walk from some othe r attractions like the old street. There are always interesting travelers to hang out and chat with. They just need to improve their maintenance a little. Some small improvements that wouldn't even cost them very much. For example, a missing shower curtain in one of the showers so that your clothes don’t get wet, or a toilet seat that isn’t even attached to the toilet. These could be fixed with minimal effort.
