My recent stay at this hotel was a mixed experience with both positives and negatives. One of the first things I noticed was that while parking is provided, it is not free. Guests are required to pay RM 11 per day, which can add up over the course of a longer stay.
On a positive note, I had requested a room on a higher level and was pleased to be given a room on Level 27. This was a nice gesture from the reception staff, who was trying to accommodate my request.
Upon checking into my room, I realized there was no fridge available, which was quite inconvenient. I had to call the reception and request one, which was eventually provided, but it would have been better if the fridge was included by default.
The bathroom, although functional, was a bit small. Additionally, the placement of the towels next to the toilet was quite unpleasant. It would be much more hygienic and comfortable if the towels were stored in a different location.
The breakfast buffet was average at best. The assortment of food was just so-so and left much to be desired. I specifically asked for a sunny side up egg, but the chef suggested I take one that had already been prepared. As someone who prefers my eggs made to order with the yolk still runny, this was a disappointment.
Overall, while the hotel had some redeeming qualities, such as the eventual provision of a fridge upon request and the availability of parking (albeit at an additional cost), there were several areas where it could improve to enhance the guest experience.
