Liberty Central Saigon Citypoint

I stayed for a week, and the cleaning staff was quite careless every day. The room wasn't cleaned thoroughly. The towels I was given were still damp, and the trash wasn't emptied. One morning at breakfast, I asked a staff member for a cup of coffee, and she told me there was a coffee machine over there. I was truly shocked to get such an answer from a hotel of this caliber for the first time.

One of the most satisfying hotels I've stayed at in Ho Chi Minh City! The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of District 1. Stepping out, you're surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores. It's a short walk to all the major attractions, and getting a taxi to the airport is easy. The rooms are modern and minimalist, clean and odorless, with separate wet/dry bathrooms, a mini-bar, and free WiFi – everything you need. The bed is on the firmer side but very comfortable. The city views from the floor-to-ceiling windows on higher floors are incredibly soothing. The rooftop facilities deserve special praise: the infinity pool isn't huge but offers spectacular views. Enjoying a cocktail at the SkyBar in the evening, overlooking the Saigon cityscape, is just heavenly. The service is very thoughtful; the front desk staff speak fluent English, and check-in was quick. They also provided a welcome fruit platter and chocolates before bed. The Executive Lounge offers free food and drinks during happy hour, and the cashews are incredibly delicious. Breakfast offers a wide variety, including freshly made pho, baguettes, and Western hot dishes, all tasting great. The only minor downsides: some rooms have average soundproofing, and the breakfast selection isn't luxurious. Overall, the experience far exceeded expectations. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

The room was a decent size, had everything I needed, and was very clean. However, the curtains were poorly designed, letting in light on both sides (see photo). I arrived late at night, and by the time I was settled, it was already 1 AM. As a result, I was woken up by the light at 6 AM. The breakfast was plentiful, with both Asian and Western options. There's also a restaurant on the third floor where you can have lunch and dinner, and the prices are reasonable. Many local Vietnamese families dine there. The hotel is close to all the tourist attractions, making it a good choice overall. My only complaint is that the front desk captain was unfriendly and unsmiling.
