The Alloy King of Prussia - a DoubleTree by Hilton

King of Prussia|1.62km from downtown
This is a solid choice if you need to be in this part of greater Philadelphia. We were there for a sport climbing competition in next door Bridgeport (3 mi away), and this fit the bill. It's been renovated, and the lobby and bar are stunning. The bar service was very good. We also had dinner there the second night and all enjoyed our meals. Our room was clean, comfortable, and generally working order. I applaud the property for using large pump bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap instead of single use plastic bottles, which are so awful environmentally. However, it looks like they hot glued the bottles to the shower wall, and housekeeping must have knocked one off, because one was just standing in the shower. This was not a problem for use, though! I also applaud that daily housekeeping is optional. We would have not called for it, except my son had sweats the first night, so we wanted fresh sheets for him. I messaged the hotel through the Hilton Honors app and the manager responded immediately, which was impressive. The only glitch was that when I requested housekeeping, I specifically asked for the conditioner in the shower to be refilled as well (it was empty) and they neglected to do that. But housekeeping did come. We were pleased to find our room had a small refrigerator, which was great for storing snacks for the competition, and boxed leftovers from dinner. Front desk staff was super nice and efficient when we checked in. Ample parking. Lots of restaurants close by. Not a great area for walking - we did walk to a restaurant for dinner the first night, but lots of busy streets, malls, not great sidewalks, etc. The area is not designed with pedestrians in mind, but that's not the hotel's fault.

Motel 6 King of Prussia, PA - Philadelphia

Upper Merion Township|0.51km from Louis Vuitton King of Prussia
We recently spent 2 nights at this Motel 6 location. Our experience was awful. We paid for 4 adults and received 2 towels the first night and 1 towel the second night. The first floor stunk of burning **** throughout the day and evening along with fresh ground **** during the morning hours. When looking in the shower, there was hair that was never cleaned up from the previous guests along with shampoo/conditioner caked on the shower walls from multiple previous guests. At 4 am the first evening staying, the fire alarm went off in the hall. No faculty went around banging on doors to alert us. No individual room alarms went off alerting us that the fire alarm was going off, it was just a loud alarm coming from the hall. Upon opening the door, we saw a bunch of individuals going toward the front desk so we closed the door and threw on shoes so we could evacuate if needed. After throwing shoes on, we opened the door again to people sprinting down the halls sceaming there is smoke. At that point, we began to panic, grabbed all of our stuff for the funeral that we drove 700 miles to go to that morning and evacuated. My mom, who has a broken foot tried her best to fast walk/hobble out the exit. After about 10-15 minutes, a gentleman probably in his 20s came around telling us everything was okay and it was just a guy who was high trying to get a room for cheap and got unhappy with the price so he sprayed the fire extinguisher setting off the alarm. When my dad asked about a refund for the inconvenience, the worker replied that they have no control over what happens. A knock on the door stating that the police was taking care of what was going on would have been way more helpful than grabbing our funeral clothes and trying to help my crippled mother out the door fast because it looked like smoke in the hobby. In addition, the morning that we were leaving at 6am, we were walking to the car with all of our belongings and there was a fresh needle lying in the middle of the parking lot next to a beaten up car. I pray and hope that was picked up before a little kid running by picked it up and risked getting a disease from the bodily fluid. Overall, bad experience.

Sheraton Valley Forge King of Prussia

I’ve stayed at this place multiple times and have never been disappointed. Their service is top notch and continues to be at a top level post covid. As an example, I saw the bartender Erica mopping the floors at 12.30 in the morning to ensure the place was ready for the morning. Just one example of the service level I’ve come to expect at this place.

Our bartender was amazing. His name is Tim. Please give this man a raise. We sat at a table and we were ignored for 15 minutes. At the bar Tim made up for everything. Please make sure he knows that he saved the night. You weight your weight staff was horrible.

Fairfield Inn Philadelphia Valley Forge/King of Prussia

We stayed here this past weekend in June 2022 for my son’s graduation. The hotel was in the perfect location next to the King of Prussia mall as well as minutes away from Cabrini College. There are many restaurants within walking distance. The room was clean and spacious. It was also very quiet as it overlooked the parking lot so no traffic noise. It was a sold out weekend with a Lacrosse Tournament in town and was still very quiet. The front desk employees are very kind, gracious and helpful as was everyone in housekeeping. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and for a Fairfield inn offered hot options every morning such as eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage as well as all the other continental options. On Friday evening they had complimentary cookies and soft pretzels in the lobby. We especially enjoyed talking with Tony at breakfast, such a friendly and welcoming person and made everyone there feel welcome. It was nice to have this personal touch. I highly recommend this hotel if you need to stay in the area. Thanks for a great stay!

This hotel is about 3 kilometers away from the Prussian King Shopping Mall and is a long distance away. But still very convenient. It’s just that the hotel may be a long time, so the equipment is old.

The Owners have remodeled this old high rise, that was probably built in the early 1960's. I had a top floor room, with a grand view of the King of Prussia Mall complex. The rooms accommodations were new, but the bathroom was the smallest, I've ever tried to maneuver in. The hotel showed it's old age with VERY poor water pressure in the bathroom. But the most annoying factor was the Owners Wife. I was trying to check in, about 7:30pm and the wife continually interrupted my front desk transaction with her alarming voice, to every employee, about a 'red plastic bag' = WHAT? Then I saw the Owners wife again, while we were both in the breakfast area. This time she was on another much less 'alarming' trivial issue, with two other employees. Please keep her in the Office area, please ?
