It is very suitable for parents and children to stay. The children play in the playroom until they don’t want to leave. The environment and hygiene are very good. Although the breakfast does not have many varieties, it tastes very good! The staff are very friendly. It happened to be a Christmas event and the children got small gifts and were very happy😃

A great location with great service. You're right next door to Kaohsiung Pier 2. The rooms may not have windows, much like ours didn't. If they do have windows, you can't open them. They're not particularly spacious in this hotel but you are very close by to numerous restaurants and cafes too, so it works out well. At time we could hear noises from the corridor so be weary of that. Busses are nearby but the times don't always align with google maps. Was a decent place, adequately priced and suitable for the time we had. But if we go back, we'll probably try for a more spacious place with a view! Otherwise for the cheap and cheerful option, this might be a great way to go!

The hotel's hygiene is average (not dirty). The room with the bed is only about 1m close to the building next door. The breakfast is okay and the service is very good. It's close to the subway station. It only takes half an hour to go to the airport. It only takes a taxi to go to the high-speed rail or the airport. More than 300

All my weekend itineraries were on Pier 2, so I chose Tuna Hotel. The location is very close to the MRT and Pier 2. It takes about 5 minutes to walk there. The service attitude at the morning counter is also very good! We booked a double room. As soon as we walked in, we saw biscuit crumbs and hair on the corner of the door. There were unknown stains on the pillows. There were water stains on the dressing table. The shelf on the bathroom toilet was too high. It was not in line with Asia at all. The settings for the average height of people, and the breakfast buffet bar the next day, several plates were sticky to the touch. In short, the hygienic aspects are really not ideal and not recommended.

Steps away from LRT. Beautiful harbor area. Plenty of interesting things to see, to walk around, to explore. Will definitely come back.

I am visiting my mom in Taiwan and decided to spend a couple of nights in Kaohsiung. I will be quite honest. I didn't have a lot of expectations staying at a Holiday Inn Express. But the stay exceeded my expectations. I took the MRT and the station is less than 5 minutes walk to the hotel. The check in process was smooth. I was offered a drink (I picked soda!) at check in for being a Platinum member. A very nice gesture. My room is small, but most rooms in Asia seem small to me coming from the US. It has a tiny view of the river and the park. You can tell the hotel is pretty new. I work a lot in my room wherever I am traveling in the world. This modern room provides all the necessary electric outlets for me to plug whatever I need in. This is important to me as well as good working wifi, which this property provides. Oh! They also gave me a basket of snacks and drinks! That was a very pleasant surprise! The breakfast selection is somewhat limited but sufficient whether you are into ********* or Western breakfast. I don't travel to Taiwan often, so whenever I can have ********* breakfast, that's what I eat! They even have a noodle station, but unlike most other Asian hotels I stayed at, it is a self-serve Noodle station. I don't trust myself enough to make one. I wonder if it is possible for the hotel to allocate a staff person to work the station. The service at the breakfast buffet was great! They offered to make me drinks. I took the opportunity to order some iced latte. I almost gave this place a 5-star, but there are a couple of things needed work: 1) I could never get the shower head aligned to face me directly while standing in the middle of the shower. 2) The water pressure in the sink is really low when it is on cold. If I turned it away from cold, the pressure is fine. But I don't always want warm or hot water. 3) This one is more of a personal suggestion. I wish this place had a gym/workout room. That's another thing I look for when I travel. Not sure if there is anything they can do. But just thought I would throw it out there. I read some unnecessary harsh reviews (like one earlier where the worker had trouble finding their reservation), but my experience tells me the staff tries their best to make your stay enjoyable. I am sorry I couldn't quite give this hotel a 5-star, but I will definitely stay here again in the future when I am in Kaohsiung!

The staff are very nice and helpful. However, the food is just fair except the bottle milk which is a MUST for try. The website photos are too nice which made me a bit disappointed when I saw the real room. Anyway, the design and the interior decoration is very unique. The location is definitely very good especially if you want to try on the night food market. So close to the Liu He might market.

The hotel's triple room was marked as a room with a bathtub on the booking website. When I checked in, it was told that there was no bathtub. I had no choice but to accept the change to a quadruple room, which was 10 square meters smaller. In addition, the parking lot only had about 20 parking spaces. And it adopts a first-come, first-served parking system (meaning that as long as the parking space is full, subsequent tenants will have to park in the special parking lot that is said to be 5 minutes' walk away, and as long as there is a parking lot under the hotel, no matter whether you drive out or not, how late will it be? There is guaranteed to be a parking space when you come back. It is recommended that friends who want to stay in this hotel must check in in advance before driving out, because no matter how late it is, you don’t have to worry about not having a parking space in the hotel and having to park in a special parking lot outside.) Breakfast is also Average standard. I can't say what I remember about it. Anyway, I won't want to stay here again.

The location is good for self-driving, but the service of Ubike is available just 50m away. The breakfast is awesome, and the room is clean with a wonderful city view. The staff is polite, supportive and always wearing a smile. The facilities of swimming pool, mini gym, and sauna are available. Highly recommended and will definitely order again.
