The name of the hotel ”Hotel de ville” (franchise: Councilhouse) does not open me. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The night porter quickly handed out a shower that was hidden after the room cleaning. For breakfast I would have liked a little more change. On both days the breakfast buffet was identical. I wouldn't like to spend such a longer stay at the hotel. The room appeared overall argued: The carpet showed dark points in the entrance area, the tiles were jumped in the bathroom at several places. The high shower cup is not the state of the technique. The toilet seat was free. Here I expect an immediate notification by the cleaning forces and also immediate remediation. The room was not air-conditioned. A minibar was not available although the furniture was prepared for it. Despite the double room there was only one night table. A chair was added as a night table by the operator. The light switches are within the bed, which led to the light being turned on during the night when the bed moves. The room is not accessible - nor the deep garage completed by permanent parking (sport cars).

The reception was closed but there was a board at the reception that we could notify to the bar. It's a good room, clean, but you're gonna have it in the outdoor area, and you're gonna have a good high bed, and the bathroom is to be replaced. The shower cabin was very easy to use and waste (calc and fungus) but was very clean in the floor of the bathroom in the corner behind the door. Unfortunately, there was no restaurant on Friday night but there was a list of restaurants in the room. We finally got out at the restaurant Oerather Mühle in Erkelenz, which was not on the list. Excellent restaurant. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've ever seen. What a choice, huge! Super delicious all. And that's also again in a very beautiful space. Both where the buffet is and where you're sitting for dining. Very wide parking next to the pan.
