What a fantastic hotel in a great location . Near the blue mosque and grand bazaar both within walking distance . Bed was comfortable and room a decent size . Staff were very helpful and a quick response when something needed . Lots of places to eat nearby around the surrounding streets & a good breakfast provided by the hotel with good selection of cold and hot options .

This has been the best holiday I have had in years! The staff have been fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The food has been outstanding!! The sauna, steam room and massage were brilliant- wonderful people. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you Double Tree Hilton Istanbul Old Town. We will be back again!

Overall a lovely stay. A lots of pros- Great breakfast, friendly staff, 24hr gym, free parking, very safe. Booked a one day tour to Troy, got picked up and drop off at the hotel, saved 2 trips to the Istanbul city,a present surprise. Own experience - Location is far and not easily accessible from main tourist attractions. For self drive, the hotel is located next to a highway, if missed the turning, go around is 7 min. Baby pool was not open, swimming hat compulsory or can buy for 130TR from spa desk.

The location is very good. Not too far from main tourism location (Sultanahmet area). Pazartekke Tram Station is right in front of this hotel, so if you prefer public transport within Istanbul or to go to airport / bus station, this might make your trip much easier. Room is spacious, completed with kettle and daily complimentary bottled water, tea bags and coffee, and also iron and ironing board. My bathroom has a bathtub (although I only used it for shower). Breakfast is superb. The only thing I might complain is that the breakfast hall should be bigger for 5 star hotel, as (in my observation) it felt so crowded and cramped when almost all guests come for breakfast in the main breakfast time (between 8 and 9 am).

It is a very nice hotel. The Executive Lounge and the Rooftop Bar are on the highest Floor where you have a fantastic View of the Bosphorus and can enjoy delicious Food. Our Room was very large and very clean. When we arrived there was a Fruit Basket, different Variations of Chocolate and a Bottle of Wine served on our Table even though we don't drink Alcohol i found it very accommodating. The Breakfast is wonderful and there are many different flavors. The Coffee was unfortunately not good so I drank Çay. You can walk 10-15 Minutes and then you will pass various small Cafés, Supermarktes and Restaurants. I recommend this Hotel because it’s worth a Visit !

If you need a very quiet place to stay, this is not your place. It located right next to Hagia Sophia, some rooms are right next to the tramway so it wouldnt be as quiet until 11pm. Walking distance to most of the attractions in old city, service was great. Breakfast has a selection of international or traditional Turkish, breakfast could be better.

Everything was fine, without the temperature in the room. My expectations of a 5-star hotel are that I control the temperature in my room and not the hotel manager. We had 26 degrees (Celsius) in the room, which made us sweat and sometimes sleepless, after we had given ourselves presents, we were advised to turn off the air conditioning (only air), which did not help at all. Sleeping with the window open was impossible as the hotel is near a main road

The hotel located in a good place which is very close to metro line. Rooms are clean and kinda spacious, staffs are friendly too. However the facility and the offerings are not enough. The hotel doesn’t let you feel like you are accommodating at 5 star hotel. The pool is super small and open only for ladies between 11:00-15:00 which is totally no sense again. Wish they could offer more for that high price tag. In 5 star hotel you get paper cup instead of a Glass/porcelain cup. Even in 4 star hotels in this zone doesn’t use paper cups. Sorry but my satisfaction level wasn’t that high because of price/quality ratio.
