Hotels near St. George, Istanbul

If there would be a Champions League for hotels, Rixos Tersane would win it. The nature of my media profession necessitates many hotel stays in many countries. Usually I cannot wait to go home. This time everything was different. Welcome? I felt as a family member, not paying guest. Design? Beautiful. Rooms? Perfect size, waterfront views, very comfortable beds, seating area, desk to work on, well above average storage space, and then the bathroom... history in the building, on the walls, there are books to read or consult about city and country. Food and beverage? Best I had in years at a hotel, from breakfast to dinner. Breakfast in particular is out of a stylish Hollywood movie. If a convention or conference is coming up - book it here. 2000 happy delegates? Easy :-) But there was something else, too: the team, their staff. How a hotel is managed reflects in staff attitude. According to my opinion and I spoke with many, this hotel must have the best possible management anywhere in the world. Thank you!

It is located in the core area of ​​the city and the surrounding transportation is extremely convenient. Whether you take public transportation or take a taxi, you can easily get there. There are also many popular attractions and shopping centers nearby, which are very convenient for travel and shopping. 2. Hotel facilities 1. Guest rooms: The rooms are spacious and bright, with a simple and stylish decoration style, giving people a comfortable and warm feeling. The beds are soft and comfortable, ensuring good sleep quality. The facilities in the room are complete, including HD TV, free wireless network, mini bar, etc., to meet various daily needs. 2. Bathroom: Clean and tidy, equipped with high-quality toiletries. The water flow in the shower room is sufficient and the water temperature is stable, allowing people to relax while bathing. 3. Public areas: The hotel lobby is luxuriously decorated with a comfortable lounge area. The elevator runs smoothly and quickly, reducing waiting time. In addition, the hotel also has a gym and a swimming pool, providing guests with a wealth of leisure and entertainment options. 3. Hotel services 1. Front desk service: The staff is warm and friendly, and the check-in and check-out procedures are efficient and fast. When checking in, the front desk will also introduce the hotel's facilities and services in detail, making people feel meticulous care. 2. Room service: fast response and thoughtful service. When there is a need, the staff will rush to the room in time to solve the problem for the guests. The room is also very clean, and it will be cleaned on time every day to keep the room tidy. 3. Catering service: The hotel's restaurant offers a variety of food with pure taste and high quality. The breakfast is rich in variety and balanced in nutrition, providing sufficient energy for a day's activities.

Definitely I will come here again for my next visit to Türkiye, it’s close to Taksim square and many foods surrounding. Can easily get taxi, buses and metro. The room is so huge, with living room and kitchen :) The room is clean and the hotel staffs are so nice, very helpful :) Thank you 🙏🏽

To begin with, now this hotel is called DNZ TAXIM FERİDİYE HoTEL. I booked a stay for three nights through booking in a deluxe room. Upon arrival, we were given a different room that did not match the description and photo when booking. We returned to the administrator with an attempt to explain that the number was clearly different. He looked for our reservation for a long time, found it, and eventually gave us another room. It was larger and similar in size to the one in the photo, but it did not match in appearance. We were told that there were no other rooms available. In the end, I had to stay in this room. Then we began to examine it in more detail and were in a slight shock. The point was the condition of the room itself: the door trims were broken off, the walls were all chipped to the ground, the sink was loose, the shower hose was frayed, the faucet that was kept on parole. The faucet and fan just stuck out of the wall, everything above the doorway in the bathroom was smeared with cement without any kind of decoration (everything is in the photo). Towels are dirty, with lipstick residue and holes. Bed linen was also in question. The price included breakfast, which again turned out to be not the same as in the photo on bo***********A photo of breakfast is also attached to the review. The main thing there is half a loaf. Arabs work at the front desk, who know a couple of words in English, that is, it is extremely difficult to communicate with them. And finally, the cherry on the cake. We decided that we could not stand here for three nights and leave after two nights. As a result, the administrators canceled our reservation when we checked out, and sent information to booking that we supposedly did not check in. In general, they simply deceive people! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

I visited Istanbul from USA and this is my review! This hotel is very clean and kid friendly! It’s a must you stay here if you ever visit Taksim, Istanbul. This hotel is in the perfect location, A lot of good food nearby, shopping nearby, grocery stores and mosque. I believe its a family run hotel. I am a sucker for new hotels and liked the 5 star reviews in different sites. Also,  I wanted to stay away from the touristy Sulthanamet and Karakoy areas. The good: Asian side, less than a 5 minute walk to the Kadikoy Ferry Port. Brand new ( as of 2023). Small, only 27 rooms, great bed!. Owner, Oz was very hospitable, even walked me to the port. Hotel room was spotless! Helpful staff all over the hotel. I discovered a maze of shops, restaurants, cafes, kepab eateries etc where the locals hang out, right in yhe neighbourhood behind the hotel,  I ate my best meal of the trip in this area. The not so good: The hotel is great but just lacks something - it needs more character despite the luxurious facade that was attempted, if you get a sea facing room be aware that it gets pretty noisy on the road right in front of the hotel during the weekends. Entrance of hotel lacks curb appeal, I wouldn't call it luxury,  perhaps a very well done 3 star hotel at best. It'll be interesting to see how they evolve over time.

Hello to everyone 👋 I have been visiting Istanbul several times and I have been in many different hotels and apartments but this time I was in Wanda vista Istanbul hotel and I and my partner didn’t want to leave the place. I’m speechless!!! Can’t find a word to describe how good the room and the staff members was room very clean and tidy and great looking the staff very friendly and polite and helpful  Everything was top of the range  Seriously I never leave any comments or likes on social media or anything else got dealing with the reviews or anything like that but this time I felt it’s so unfair if I don’t… My partner she’s very fussy and she’s the type of a lady won’t settle less than what she deserves and she’s got very expensive taste 😖 when I found the hotel she wasn’t happy and argued with me why I book this hotel simply because the price wasn’t as expensive as other hotel we use to got but since we got there till the last minute we checked out she was loving every single second we spent in the room and she was saying from now on this is the one and only one place she would love to stay anytime we will come to Istanbul again Thank you ever so much for the lovely and warm welcoming hospitality and very great full for the perfect service.🙏🙏

The hotel staff were kind and courteous from the get-go. We were delighted to receive an upgrade and were impressed by the size of the room. All facilities within the room were kept in excellent order. However, some attention to cleanliness was lapsing. We found dirty handprints on the TV and walls. This, however, was rectified with housekeeping. Breakfast was included in our package but the range and quality of food was not very good. At one point, during our stay, there was nowhere to sit, and our plates were cleared away before we had finished our food. The location is about 30 mins away from the main tourist sites, but the Mall of Istanbul is a 15-minute car journey away. This is a great mall for shopping, entertainment, and getting something to eat. There is also an outlet mall 10 mins walk away that has a supermarket, fast food restaurants and a few branded shops. Overall, I was pretty pleased with the hotel and would stay again.

Loft airport hotel This hotel is beautiful we were completely in shock at how nice the room is - Has a huge mirror which converts to a TV. The room has little fridge with free drinks - coffee kettle. It has beautiful furnishings the bathroom is fabulous I would totally recommend staying at this hotel Has a large mirror which turns into a TV. All upgraded - & exceptional When you get a taxi from the airport be sure the taxi man puts on the meter…. If you don’t see the meter running by the time you’re leaving the airport tell him to pull over and put the meter on I have noticed several Turkish taxi drivers don’t put on the meter coming or going from the airport why because they want to rip off tourists Do not pay any more than 200 Turkish lira max You can even get an Uber for maximum of 165 from the airport to the hotel Unfortunately you cannot get an Uber back to the airport. We did get a taxi from hotel back to the airport. 160 lira The hotel says it’s 5 miles away (that’s as the Crow flies) its actuality 8 1/2 miles by road. 15 mins max All the girls & Guys at the front desk were exceptional & really sweet - they spoke English they ordered us food to be delivered in the evening for us. They also recommended restaurants. We ordered a Turkish breakfast for €5 Our flight wasn’t until 530 so we asked if we could check out at 1 and they said yes no problem which we thought was very nice of them. There is a hotel at IST Airport but it’s very expensive (& not on Expedia) We would Definitely stay at this hotel again and have marked it as one of my favorites. I don’t very often give 5 star reviews but the staff were so nice and lovely and the hotel was soo fabulous I gave it a 5*. I did book the hotel 7 months out and got an amazing price so that helped…

I experienced my travel for work with staff very close to the airport, their rooms were new and comfortable beds. I've been staying in the loft plus hotel in the same area before, I love loft hotels in Istanbul and I often prefer my travels.
