Hotel staff are professional and helpful. Location is also superb. Nonetheless we are disappointed that certain facilities, like the terrace, are closed “in preparation for high season”. There is no swimming pool at this establishment either - while the hotel provides shuttle transport to their other location on the Bosphorus it is at least half an hour bus ride away. This makes it not the best value for the money in our opinion. The famous view of the Blue Mosque is also fully blocked by a taller Seven Hills cafe nearby. You can find better value elsewhere. And don’t go if scenic views or swimming pool are important to you.

The hotel is in a very good location, and it takes no more than 5 minutes to walk to the main attractions in the old city, such as the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, etc. The hotel facilities are very exquisite and the service is also very good, but the room is not big and the view outside the window is average.

The location is excellent, less than ten minutes' walk to the two major mosques and one minute away from the popular terrace at Seven Hills. The hotel is the best choice in the old town. The service is a little lacking. There were not many guests for dinner and the food was served very slowly. We promised to make an appointment for the Turkish bath, but we were stood up. However, the breakfast was delicious and the concierge service was very good.

When you don't know which one to choose, choose Four Seasons, and you will never make a mistake.

Excellent service and great location. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming, and will even remember your name and say hello. Different desserts and fruits are delivered every night. Breakfast is highly recommended, and the manager also thoughtfully helped us demonstrate the complete process of making Turkish coffee, just because we asked casually the day before. The only drawback is that the view from the room is not very good, it is a construction site. And the hotel entrance is very small and the driver is not easy to find. We missed it the first time and went back.

The starting point of the sightseeing tour bus is right on the square. It is very convenient to get there. To exit the square, go left. Going out is Victory Street, which is very lively and has trams running through it, which is also very unique. Go down (right) on Victory Street and you will go to the Old Palace. If you look at the mosque on the left and Sophia Cathedral on the right, the Basilica Cistern is on the right side of the square. The entrance to the Basilica Cistern is where people are queuing across the road. We stayed for 5 nights and walked around every day. It was very atmospheric. In Muslim countries, prayers are held five times a day. When the loudspeaker sounds, it is most disturbing in the early morning. However, they seem to be very conscious, and the volume is slightly lower in the morning and the duration is shorter. The rest of the time, just enjoy listening to music when praying. Every time, there is a live broadcast of prayers in every mosque, playing a long tune as if singing, which is very exotic. Basically, you have to negotiate the price of a taxi, and Grab also negotiates the price. They all charge extortionate prices, so you must negotiate before getting in the car.

The courtyard of the Four Seasons Hotel is very special. The location is very close to Sophia Church and the core area. The service is very warm. Because it is during the National Day, a cake was also given. The hotel is very quiet and the environment is very special. Recommended.

During the New Year's Eve in Istanbul at the end of the year, I booked a junior suite, and the concierge upgraded me to a Pasha suite. Not bad, not sure if it is the rights of Ctrip Golden Diamond.
