Facilities: The facilities are a bit old compared to the first time I went there, but it still does not affect the use. It is quite complete. There are two swimming pools, one is on the roof for taking photos, and the other one can be used for swimming, which is more comfortable. There is also a battery car to go to the nearby reservoir, but it was closed during the festival this time and could not be entered. Sanitation: It is relatively clean. The hygiene of the room, bedding, bathroom and public areas is good. Environment: The weather is relatively hot this time. Many places cannot be visited. It is too hot. Although there are still many green plants in the hotel, it is too hot. The air conditioning in the public area is still not cool enough. Service: The housekeeper Yao Yao is very considerate. He added WeChat before checking in, helped prepare the bed guard, and turned on the air conditioning in the room in advance. It was very cool as soon as he entered the door. He also prepared free fruits and drinks, as well as sweet soup. In addition, it was not yet time for the battery car to drive, and the driver was arranged to take us there. It was very awesome! Shujia exquisite afternoon tea: The hotel prepared simple bayberry soup, watermelon, melon seeds, peanuts, dried fruits and other afternoon tea. Fruit picking coupon: Each room was given a fruit picking coupon, but we didn't go because it was too hot. Breakfast: There were snacks and noodles for breakfast, which was ok.

The place is beautiful, a bit empty in facilities where the swimming pool and hot springs are located. Thats a problem because everytime you want to enter swimming pool you need to pay again, even if that is during the same day. We didnt know about that, so we got hungry and left pretty fast, because its not possible to buy anything except sausages on the territory of hot springs. All in all experience was positive. But i still feel that staff was very slow. It takes a lot of time to check in or to get things sorted out to enter the swimming pool.

The room is satisfactory, the mattress is comfortable, the service is satisfactory, the staff are very nice, but the breakfast quality is not good, the buns are so thick that you can’t bite the fillings and they are not delicious, and the Cantonese-style raw porridge is watery and like leftover soup , it’s not raw porridge at all, the juice is blended and very sweet, the strawberry jam looks very good, it’s delicious when you apply it and take a bite.

We were on a business trip, so we got back to the hotel late. We didn't go back to the hotel to sleep until 2 a.m., but we were woken up by a phone call from the hotel at around 6 a.m. We were on a business trip for a few days and stayed in four hotels. This one was the most annoying. once. Just because the car was parked in front of the hotel, but when we returned to the hotel to sleep, we didn't see any sign that we couldn't park, and the location of my car didn't affect the passage of vehicles. As a result, I was woken up by a phone call early in the morning, and I was speechless.

Apart from a small problem with room service we were very happy with our stay. The room had spectacular views over the river and West Lake. It was near a major shopping centre and food street. We felt pampered and relaxed and enjoyed just sitting in the room enjoying the view. Highly recommended.
InterContinental Huizhou Resort

After reading the previous reviews, there are mixed reviews. The actual experience after checking in is completely different from that of a light luxury hotel. It is very, very grand. The hotel opened in 2019 and the design is very careful. The construction materials are very, very solid and high quality is reflected everywhere. The lobby, corridors and rooms are basically made of marble and mahogany. It feels like being in the Beijing Military Museum and the Great Hall of the People. There are many rooms with various functions on both sides of the long corridor, which are well maintained. At the same time, it can be seen that maintenance costs are high and difficult, and the occupancy rate is not high. Employees are actively working to help themselves, but the investment should be insufficient. After all, the monthly electricity bill is 10,000 yuan. The Chinese restaurant bamboo products are good and the prices are reasonable. I really like this old hotel and hope it gets better and better, otherwise it would be a shame. Someone commented earlier that the soap was moldy. It must be the plants in the soap.
