I recently stayed at La Siesta Classic Hang Thung for one night, and honestly, it wasn't enough! Hotel Property: 1. The hotel's location is great. It's right in the middle of Hanoi's Old Quarter, so you can easily walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy the lively atmosphere. 2. What's cool is that the hotel is only two months old and it looks amazing. The rooms are a good size, and the modern design is Instagram-worthy. It's pretty impressive they even squeezed in a pool in the middle of the tight Old Quarter spaces. Service 1. We got to the hotel really early from Sapa, and our rooms weren't ready, but Mr. VP at the front desk was super nice. He went out of his way to arrange a shower for us. It was a real help to get us cleaned up from the long train ride. 2. I accidentally booked a room for 3 persons when there was only 2 of us. Mr.VP immediately noticed it and upgraded us to a junior suite without us knowing. That was a pleasant surprise and definitely made our day. The Not-So-Great Stuff: There were a couple of small issues that could have made the overall experience even better. 1. We asked for more water and ice around 9 pm, but they never brought it. Eventually, we went out and buy water, and reminded the front desk to send some ice to the room. But even after reminding the front desk personally, no ice came all night. 2. Food at breakfast was good, but the service could he better. When we wanted to sit by the window, the server insisted that we sit at another table. She rolled her eyes at me when I told her that we prefer to sit by the window. She then cleared our table quite unwillingly. She just changed the cutlery but did not replace the used placemats. We didn't bother her after that as she seemed annoyed. But despite these minor hiccups, I'd definitely recommend La Siesta Classic Hang Thung to anyone looking for a great stay in Hanoi. It's a lovely place with pretty and clean rooms and lovely front desk staff.

Jade Orental was our first stop in Hanoi after an 18 hour trip from the US. We were a group of 17 people. The General Manger Mr. Do and his staff welcomed us very well on arrival with a efficient check in process. The hotel is located in a great area (we were walking around after midnight and felt safe). Breakfast spread was excellent and food tasty with lots of variety, customer service was very good, rooms were well appointed and bed very comfortable. Felt at home and very welcomed. Would definitely go back there again. Thanks to everyone for making our stay there great.

Good location! Hotel is located within walking distance to Old Quarter😊 Was served by Ms Yen and her team & their service was top-notch! Ms Yen showed us the two types of rooms available and let us choose after. She also shared about the tours to Ninh Binh & Ha Long Bay and helped us book them respectively. It saved me so much of time and money, if I had book from another vendor. Their breakfast spread is beautiful and filling. Their chef and team are very eager in helping us out with our bags to helping us pack our breakfast when we had to head out as early as 6:30am. Ms Yen was always contactable via WhatsApp and was one of the reasons I got to try really tasty Cha Ca Thang Long as well! I’m glad to have chosen this hotel and will highly recommend it to anyone who is planning on visiting Hanoi!

The hotel in the old town of Hanoi is hard to find a taxi driver because it is almost a small intersection. This hotel also took time to find without exception. The staff was friendly and we were able to spend a lot of time. The room was beautiful, so the satisfaction was high, but even if the drainage was bad and the shower was taken, the water accumulated at the foot. Breakfast was not a lot, but it was a good and delicious meal with enough repertoire. Overall, I think it is a good hotel. If you go to Hanoi next time, I will use it.

We moved to the Sunline Hotel in Hanoi after spending a couple of nights up the road. Very happy with the change, extremely reasonable with the price and a great positionin the Old Quarter. Be aware that unless you pay top $$, the rooms in Hanoi are not big, so be prepared for that, but it shouldn't matter; we were hardly in the room. Great to get a room high up as there are some great views to be had of the lake and surrounding areas. The staff were extremely friendly and able to help with any questions. The hotel also held our luggage while we did trips to Ninh Binh and Sapa. Taking one star off because we found the breakfast to be quite poor. Whilst included, we only ate there once as it always looked tired and needed refreshing. However, I wouldn't make that a reason not to stay there.

The service was incredibly attentive including Tracy and all the other staff which took the time to make sure we had everything we needed from directions to places to eat. Bed was soft and room clean. Location wise it’s very central near restaurants, bars and the lake but not too busy it’s frustrating. Be sure to check out the weekend night activities around the lake because there is so much community activities with people having a great time from line dancing, kpop dancing, skipping traditional games and more.

Tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, clean bathroom & good air conditioning. Breakfast is a great selection of both Vietnamese & Western cuisine. The staff will assist you with bookings. We booked hop on hop off city tour, water puppet theatre, cyclo tour & laundry through their services. The on-site spa was amazing. The ladies that work there do a sensational massage! We were travelling with a young child & this was our first hotel in Vietnam. It was a wonderful introduction to Hanoi & in larger part to Vietnam. I celebrated my 26th birthday in Hanoi. My mom shared to the staff that it was my birthday and guess what? I was surprised with a birthday cake! The location was so good since it's very close to Hoàn Kiem Lake. The friendliness of the staff are beyond my expectations. Amenities are good as well. The dining hall may be a little small but it's not a big issues since there are only specific times when the area gets very crowded. Rooms are well maintained. I'll definitely book this hotel once again when I bring my other family members here because I want them to experience the Hospitality of the employees in this hotel. Nice Hotel with Indochine Interiors and Reasonable Price, The Staffs are Friendly And kind. The room has Lemongrass smell when we check in and feel so comfortable. The next day, when we Reserved for Breakfast, the traditional Vietnamese food of the restaurant make I so impressed. The address is in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, very Convenient for Traveling and Experienced in Hanoi. Definitely I would go back when I travel to Hanoi Again

Don’t recommend the hotel. The room was on third floor and no Lift. The Night staff pretend as if does not understand English and is very rude in behaviour. There was no WiFi in room although in booking it says having WiFi. After complaining about it next day WiFi was on. Tour from hotel is for higher prices than neighboring travel service people offered. Toilet is so small so Be careful when seating on Toilet because knob of the water tap would be just 2 inches away from your eyes so any movement of your head while toileting may put you in to danger. In short don’t go for this hotel... even if it is free ...choice is yours...!!!! Better to stay at any Hostels in dormitories for $4-5 a day against I paid $20 per night.
