I recently stayed at La Siesta Classic Hang Thung for one night, and honestly, it wasn't enough! Hotel Property: 1. The hotel's location is great. It's right in the middle of Hanoi's Old Quarter, so you can easily walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy the lively atmosphere. 2. What's cool is that the hotel is only two months old and it looks amazing. The rooms are a good size, and the modern design is Instagram-worthy. It's pretty impressive they even squeezed in a pool in the middle of the tight Old Quarter spaces. Service 1. We got to the hotel really early from Sapa, and our rooms weren't ready, but Mr. VP at the front desk was super nice. He went out of his way to arrange a shower for us. It was a real help to get us cleaned up from the long train ride. 2. I accidentally booked a room for 3 persons when there was only 2 of us. Mr.VP immediately noticed it and upgraded us to a junior suite without us knowing. That was a pleasant surprise and definitely made our day. The Not-So-Great Stuff: There were a couple of small issues that could have made the overall experience even better. 1. We asked for more water and ice around 9 pm, but they never brought it. Eventually, we went out and buy water, and reminded the front desk to send some ice to the room. But even after reminding the front desk personally, no ice came all night. 2. Food at breakfast was good, but the service could he better. When we wanted to sit by the window, the server insisted that we sit at another table. She rolled her eyes at me when I told her that we prefer to sit by the window. She then cleared our table quite unwillingly. She just changed the cutlery but did not replace the used placemats. We didn't bother her after that as she seemed annoyed. But despite these minor hiccups, I'd definitely recommend La Siesta Classic Hang Thung to anyone looking for a great stay in Hanoi. It's a lovely place with pretty and clean rooms and lovely front desk staff.

Jade Orental was our first stop in Hanoi after an 18 hour trip from the US. We were a group of 17 people. The General Manger Mr. Do and his staff welcomed us very well on arrival with a efficient check in process. The hotel is located in a great area (we were walking around after midnight and felt safe). Breakfast spread was excellent and food tasty with lots of variety, customer service was very good, rooms were well appointed and bed very comfortable. Felt at home and very welcomed. Would definitely go back there again. Thanks to everyone for making our stay there great.

Our group of 6 stayed 3 nights at peridot. We had some hiccups which was of no fault by the hotel..( like losing one luggage from our group from our cruise, and tour operator etc). The hotel went above and beyond to help us resolve our problems. Special thanks to Plum, who was so nice and friendly and was so professional and efficient to resolve issues for us. Hotel has plenty of restaurants and street food everywhere and is very near the lake. Beautiful pool and sky bar too.Everyone was very friendly and helpful, from the bellboys to the front desk staff. They even gifted my mom who has a bad knee a herbal compress from the spa. Small details and kind gestures made our stay here so special. 5 stars to the peridot team!

Stayed here for a bussines trip but still, I got the chance to really enjoy my stay. The hotel is like brand new and is located at a perfect spot where I could explore all of the Old Quarter. And the staffs were amazing too, especially Stella. She helped us a lot, took lots of her time try to answered all of my silly questions, and made my boring breakfast more enjoyable. Just can't thank her enough. Overall, this hotel is where you should stay if you want to feel what it's like being in the heart of the Old Quarter. I will comeback soon.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and to my surprise the room was very nice with old town style. The room was nice and had a nice balcony. Early in the morning I would hear loudspeakers blasting, which I found amusing. The hotel's breakfast is mainly Asian cuisine, very delicious and varied. Enthusiastic staff and receptionists always welcome guests with a smile. The bellman also helped me carry my luggage. Well worth the experience. I will recommend my friends to come to this hotel. The old town is fun, the weather is cooler, and there are lots of good restaurants, but the traffic is a bit congested. I will be back next year. Everything is perfect.

Good location! Hotel is located within walking distance to Old Quarter😊 Was served by Ms Yen and her team & their service was top-notch! Ms Yen showed us the two types of rooms available and let us choose after. She also shared about the tours to Ninh Binh & Ha Long Bay and helped us book them respectively. It saved me so much of time and money, if I had book from another vendor. Their breakfast spread is beautiful and filling. Their chef and team are very eager in helping us out with our bags to helping us pack our breakfast when we had to head out as early as 6:30am. Ms Yen was always contactable via WhatsApp and was one of the reasons I got to try really tasty Cha Ca Thang Long as well! I’m glad to have chosen this hotel and will highly recommend it to anyone who is planning on visiting Hanoi!

Very convenient location. Quite new and clean for the price. There's also a travel agency right in the hotel if you want to book tours. There's no breakfast even if you want to pay. It would have been convenient if they provided it. Though the lady explained why it wasn't provided anymore. Due to covid, people switched job from the industry, which does make sense.

The hotel in the old town of Hanoi is hard to find a taxi driver because it is almost a small intersection. This hotel also took time to find without exception. The staff was friendly and we were able to spend a lot of time. The room was beautiful, so the satisfaction was high, but even if the drainage was bad and the shower was taken, the water accumulated at the foot. Breakfast was not a lot, but it was a good and delicious meal with enough repertoire. Overall, I think it is a good hotel. If you go to Hanoi next time, I will use it.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights before my trip to Sapa and for another night on my return. On both occasions I was allocated the exact deluxe double room on the same floor. Hotel: This small and clean hotel is located in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter within a 2-3 minute walk to popular Ta Hien street (beer street). As I arrived I was greeted warmly by the very friendly door boy and receptionist and was offered a plate of fresh fruits and juice while they were taking care of the registration. All staff were very friendly throughout my stay, housekeeping was always on point and the general areas of the hotel spotless. I did not use the hotel wi-fi because I purchased a tourist sim card at the airport. And neither was I able to try out their complimentary breakfast. So I unable to comment on these services. Location: The airport express bus 86 as well as the big sleeper bus from Sapa stopped within a 5 minute walk to the hotel which is very convenient. The hotel is located on the eastern edge of Old Quarter so if you are arriving from the airport, inform the 'express bus 86' conductor that you would like to get off at the '142 Duong Tran Quang Khai' stop. You will save heaps compared to catching a cab from the airport. With this being my 2nd trip to Hanoi and having previously stayed in multiple other hotels in the same area (Old Quarter), I had a fair idea of the location prior to booking. What can I say, the hotel sure was in the heart of it all with coffee shops, bars, restaurants, clubs, travel agents, laundry services, a pharmacy, etc right below and all around the hotel. A popular Vietnamese BBQ restaurant 'Bo Nuong Xuan Xuan' is almost across the street from the hotel which I highly recommend. Most must see places are within walking distance from the hotel including the lake, popular egg coffee shops, train street and of course Ta Hien beer street. And I found the surroundings to be very safe. Room: A deluxe double room on a higher floor was assigned as requested which was exactly as pictured with just the right amount of space, modern and very clean. There was a mini bar, complimentary water, a safe, study desk and two small windows which unfortunately did not have much of a view. The bed was large and very comfortable and the flat screen TV had plenty of English channels including multiple music channels. The air con worked very well and kept the room nice and cold. Bathroom: I am very particular about bathrooms when booking hotels, and more often than not, I would rather have a nicer bathroom over a nicer bedroom. In this instance however I have nothing to complain about since the bathroom was equally as good as the bedroom. It was very clean, of a decent size, with a modern toilet, spacious vanity, and a large walk in shower with a rain shower head. No issues with water pressure and hot water. The design is a bit thoughtful, but it is not suitable for business. I sit on the bed and play on the computer. There are no tables and chairs in the room. The soundproofing is not good, so I can hear clearly the people checking out next door, taking a shower upstairs, and singing on the street. After staying for 2 days, the room was cleaned the next day and the bed was made for me. They didn't change towels for me. They only brought them after calling the front desk.
