A friend recommended the Baoshi Hotel, which is very close to the West Lake. It is quite good, convenient for travel, and the hygiene and service are OK. A very nice small hotel, elegant, with Baochu Pagoda behind it. It is only a 10-minute walk from West Lake. The hotel service is also good. The room I stayed in on the first night was a bit noisy, so I changed to a room with a nice window view on the second day. The breakfast is also good.
