Every thing was spot on. Bed was so comfortable and room was clean. The room was serviced daily. Right from the start the team were all freindly and welcoming, and went above and beyond in handling our requests, even allowing my wife to have a special chair in our room for the duration of our stay. This hotel is run by a small fantastic team, and we had a very enjoyable stay.

Look before you book The photos look amazing when booking Even some of my photos make it look good… usually you say the photos don’t do it justice but in this case it’s the opposite. Sorry but it’s not a nice classic heritage place to stay in Heritage place maybe but more like a cheap hotel with a high price tag. You check in at a drive through bottle shop while cars pull up to buy alcohol Then eventually one of the staff will come out and say can we help you and realise your not here to buy alcohol… All doors are punch in key but remember to tap on lock before you leave after shutting door because it locks after you tap on the digital entry code with your hand. you don’t just pull it shut. Room looked like picture, but not. It’s a case off pictures do it justice instead of the other way around king bed comfortable. yes Bathroom clean yes Furnishings dated Including curtains to side window hiding the wood rot window and cobwebs Its like staying in a really old house that smell of stale beer a place I’d never stay in again Directly above a noisy pud If you like that great go for it … but not for me or my husband Trains across the road noisy but I expected that The best advantage is Alfred’s kitchen across the road And sorry it is not worth the price advertised at all When you can stay in amazing 5 star hotels for the same price We checked in went for dinner across the road and went back to hotel got our bags and left Look before you book And I mean go to the place first don’t look at pictures

I have stayed here before and the rooms are great. It would be nice to be able to get a table for dinner or at least have someone greet when you enter downstairs and advise it’s fully booked rather than walking in and having to hunt around The negative is that around 1.30-2am I think the cleaners or staff must leave or something as the banging of doors is continual and yet again I’m lying here at 2.15 writing this review. A bit of consideration for sleeping guests would be great

We stayed for 2 nights in a comfortable room with balcony which overlooked a side street, where we chose to park. The street was tree lined. Our room number 4 had 2 chairs and table on balcony. The drapes to the balcony were total blackouts which was great. Although the room was not large it comprised large so comfortable bed with crisp clean linen and covers, microwave on a cupboard which housed the mini fridge with uht milk provided and ice cubes, we heard no sound from tge fridge. The same cupboard housed a drawer with 2 tea/coffer cups and saucers and wine glasses. Tea coffee and sugar were provided and a kettle. There was no robe but hooks for clothing and a suitcase rack. 2 bedside tables had lamps and remote for TV and air-conditioning. Iron and ironing board provided. The bathroom tho small was very clean, water was hot. White fluffy towels, bathmat, hand towel and face washers, along with hair-dryer were housed in vanity under sink. There was only 1 hook to hang a towel and no hook for the hand towel. Shampoo and conditioner, soap and tissues were supplied. We are dinner in the bar courtyard and it was served quickly and was delicious. The staff were very efficient and friendly. Checking in at the Bottle Shop was very easy and staff were great. Codes are provided for entry door lock and your room, so easy.

Great local, go there all the time. Today is their special Sunday roast that comes with everything you could possibly want and the some. Great vibe, great staff , great food. Good range of beers and cider, wine list, indoor seating outdoor and usually have a live band or dj. Highly recommend

Stayed for 12 nights on business. Location is good for cafes, restaurants nearby and the Swan Valley. Sadly the accommodation is dated, small and noisy. Ok, I didn’t expect much but a small room with no wardrobe, no desk or table and no chairs and keyhole size bathroom does not make for a comfortable stay. Bed very hard, and a lot of noise from the hotel patrons downstairs. Street parking is a lottery… And my door lock kept playing up despite telling everyone… I will not be back…

Good sized room with the most comfortable bed I've slept in for a long time and a very large bathroom. This heritage hotel is right in the middle of historic Guildford so perfect for walking to breakfast, shops and a great location for the Swan Valley wine region. Plenty of parking outside the hotel. The two sash windows in my room were opaque but it was possible to open one about six inches. The entrance to the hotel and rooms is operated via codes you receive when you check in. There was a little music noise in the evening but otherwise the hotel was quiet.

My stay at the Stirling Arms Hotel was wonderful. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. My room was beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. I was very fortunate to be there on a night when they had entertainment, hilarious and great fun. The food was so delicious I stayed late the next day to have the soup for lunch. Very close to public transport. Train staion on the Perth city/Midland line a 2 minute walk away. And for those who love trains and planes as I do, the sound of the trains lulled me to sleep and I could watch planes coming into land pass my window. Lounges and bars have huge TV screens for watching those all important games. Highly recommend this hotel for accommodation and/or an evening of good food and entertainment. Thank you to all the staff.
