The area is very beautiful and well-treated, especially the pool. As regards the structure itself, you will certainly be aware that it would need more maintenance. Our room was small and full of antique furniture that made the environment even more sharp and tight. Note that the restaurant service was not active within the structure (the lack of correctly reported in the booking phase ) We would have wanted to report these problems to the property but in the check-out phase (possible only after the 9.) There was only the cleaning lady we thank for kindness and availability We also thank the boy at the reception for the kindness and availability Conclusion, the place has great potential but should be maintained better.

If you’re looking for a relaxing slice of heaven in Assisi, then this is the place. We stayed here for 1 night while on a tour in 2018 and have been wanting to return for a longer stay ever since. With an amazing view of the valley, our room was clean and had plenty of room for 3 of us. The family who runs the property are helpful, sweet and friendly. The location is beautiful, a five minute walk to Basilica San Francesco or to the main piazza.

What a beautiful location. A historic villa surrounded by breathtaking scenery and transformed into a quality hotel with respect for traditions and history. We were warmly welcomed by a friendly Claudia, who did everything to meet our room requirements. All the staff are friendly, obliging and very helpful. Everyone deserves a compliment, but we would like to mention two people in particular because they really stood out during our stay. Firstly Susana, who, as responsible for the whole, was literally everywhere at the same time during our stay, and who coordinated the activities with flair, flexibility, insight and customer focus. A professional lady with knowledge of her job, sincere kindness and a warm heart, who was always ready to help or provide information. We also want to mention Vasil. A devil-does-all who was always ready and who noticed everything to take appropriate action right away. Friendly, warm, obliging, professional and discreet, that is what characterizes him. La Ghirlanda can be proud of employees such as Susana and Vasil. Regarding the accommodation: it is top notch. Quiet and very rural, quality service, good food, exquisite wines, comfortable rooms with all amenities, a well-located base to explore the Umbria region and the Sagrantino terroir. In between, you can also relax by the pool where you have a literally astonishing view of the surrounding Umbrian hills, the unspoiled nature and the enormous estate of the Count Pongelli-Benedettoni family, where top wines, olive oil and many other organic products are made with respect for nature. We had a very adventurous tour of the estate in a Polaris all-terrain vehicle with expert explanations from Guilhelmo, son of the Count, who provided us with all necessary clarifications with flair, in a very warmly and knowledgeable manner. We will be back for sure!

The spa is very clean, very friendly staff. Silent and comfortable room. The restaurant is a flower in the eye. There are very good pity and very rich breakfast. Extremely cured outdoor spaces, a diving into the shadow country that restores peace in heart and mind.

There are very few reviews on Ctrip's foreign hotels. Although the speed of updating room availability is very slow, I often receive information after booking that the room is full, but the price seems to be the same. The hotel is on the mountain, some distance from the attractions, but it's just a walk away. Compared with Rome, the room is very big and the price is cheap. The rooms are all early, breakfast is quite simple, there is not much to eat.
