The hotel is located right at the edge of the old town of Bad Sooden-Allendorf, so the curing area is walking well accessible. The rooms have been somewhat in the years, some of them appear to have been made partly rehabilitations, for example the floor. But it appears that there was no complete room rehabilitation. Shower hangs in a 3-Sterne-Hotel do not go at all. A more beautiful and lighter mirror lighting in the bathroom would also be desirable. At the arrival, the ashes was still full of kips on the balcony and was not empty during a weekend stay. The breakfast buffet was very good with a lot of fresh vegetables, fresh antipastes, a large cheese selection and fresh fruit. At breakfast the staff was also very attentive.

So there was also the devil of error on the way. ...at a telephone reservation it happened quickly that of a September becomes a December.” Result is in the Red Kater, when the staff errors fall 100% distress for the guest: I was offered another room at double price. Because I still haven't booked the telephone several days the promised confirmation had been received, I had called again at the hotel to find out that my reservation had been made in the wrong month. Then I had to write everything on the phone several times, Until the data were understood in any language ... I was threatened, if I complain, you would cancel everything anyway. Finally there was a short-term room cancellation, so we got a cheaper room. We were then in the worst room (with a noisy, smelling kitchenette and smoking guests in front of the room) for much more money than agreed in the 1st reservation. When check-out, other guests were next to me who paid the price that was just mentioned to me. Also there was again a confrontation pushed by the staff, as we received the coffee paid in cash a 2. Once he wrote on the bill and accused us, as we contested, of liar. A completely absurd experience, a very unpleasant place, aggressive staff.
