Furstenfeldbruck Hotels & Accommodations

The hotel was cozing and had good accomodations. Although not too modern, the room was equipped with everything we needed and had great acoustics. Parking in the surroundings was not very easy depending on the moment of the day. Breakfast was nice, with variety of food and typically German food included. The staff was nice but not very welcoming. The neighborhood was not very near to the city center, but that worked out really good for us, since we got to experience the local life.

The hotel is easy to access, a little outside the old town, so a easy parking. The breakfast is complete and free of exaggeration in the Greek restaurant. It turns in continuous and is noisy at such point that we have to remove the control card of the electricity of the room to stop it. The bathroom has problems of ergonomics, paper looper malplacement donc on s'y touches, the window of the shower too short so on wet everywhere... The space between TV and bed is insufficient, We are also hitting TV. The breakfast is made in the nearby Greek restaurant, and the 'mariy baths didn't hold' the eggs made the big dive, but they don't put any other... The hotel is located in Germering / Unterpfaffenhofen and is very cheap for visits to Munich and the surroundings (5-Seen-Land). It is newly renovated and very clean. The prices are very cheap - we paid with breakfast 125 EUR for 2 nights. Breakfast buffet offers something for everyone and is very extensive. Reception at the reception was friendly, check-in quickly and uncomplicated. The rooms are very small, however. The bathroom offers little deposit area, there is no box (this is not so tragic), but also for the bag offers little place. All in all the rooms are OK for the night. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are very quiet. There is also a GRATIS parking garage ! - that is now very rare - directly below the hotel. The infrastructure is very good - local and supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. The S-Bahn Germering is about 10 minutes. This is about 30 minutes to the center of Munich. One point of criticism: There is still a little delay in the point of sustainability. Wir hatten eine Junior Suite gebucht. Für drei Erwachsene 210,00 EUR die Nacht ohne Frühstück. Das Hotel war aufgrund der EC und des Helene Fischer Konzerts ausgebucht. Parkplätze am Hotel waren leider nicht genügend vorhanden, was aber auch damit zusammen hängt, das die überdachten, und in der Tiefgarage gelegenen, Plätze extrem eng sind und entsprechend geparkt wurde... Im EG des Hotels befindet sich eine Bäckerei, in welcher es Frühstück gibt. Wir hatten ohne Frühstück gebucht. Drei Kaffee und vier Schoko Croissant haben 18 EUR gekostet... In einem separaten Bereich der Bäckerei wurde das Frühstück gereicht und fand das Catering für die Sportler gereicht. Die Junior Suite war großzügig und schön eingerichtet (Teppich), jedoch zur stark befahrenen Schleißheimer Str. gelegen. Da die Klimaanlage leider nicht abschaltbar, sondern nur in der Temperatur regelbar, ist, wollten wir ein Fenster über Nacht offen lassen, da dies zum automatischen Abschalten der Anlage führt. Leider war es aber so laut, dass wir das Fenster wieder geschlossen haben. Das Boxspringbett, wie auch die ausgezogene Couch, waren sehr bequem. Das Bad mit WC und begehbarer Dusche schön ausgestattet, ein großer Safe, Badeschlappen und Hygiene Artikel auch vorhanden. Leider im Zimmer keine Minibar oder Kühlschrank vorhanden, es wird pro Person eine kleine Flasche Wasser (pro Nacht) zur Verfügung gestellt. Auch einen Wasserkocher inkl. Kaffee/Tee gibt es nicht. Der Service der Mitarbeiter aber sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Bar im Foyer für einen ”Absacker” in Ordnung . Leider nicht allzu groß und da das Hotel ausgebucht war, komplett besetzt, zudem schließt diese um 22 Uhr. Auf Grund der fehlenden Minibar, nach 22 Uhr, keine Getränke mehr im Hotel verfügbar. Die Benutzung des Fitnessraums kostet pro Person und Tag 8 Euro extra. Die von mir vergebenen 4 Sterne gibt es nur, weil das Personal äußerst freundlich war.

Nice hotel, free parking, the hotel is very quiet, the price is very good, there are supermarkets around, shopping is very convenient, the front desk is full of people, you can stay in the middle of the night.

For self-driving travelers, this hotel is particularly cheap and affordable. The facilities are new, the rooms are large, and the price is good. It's about 20 minutes' drive from the center of Munich. The neighborhood is very quiet and sleeping is very comfortable. The only drawback is that the parking lot is a bit expensive.

If you want to see the true colors of the hotel's management, read the REPLY TO below which is a reply that the management posted as a reply to the below opinion there. TL;TR: We had a terrible experience. AC doesn't work properly (the lowest temperature setting was 24 and the hotel couldn't do anything about that). Not worth the money. In case of any problems, do not count on reasonable compensation if they offer you compensation at all. Management is rude and receptionists will misinform you if that suits the hotel's interest. The hotel is far from anything, including reliable public transport. --------------------------------------- OPINION: 1. Our AC did not work (the lowest setting was 24C) - they offered to open a window... to the noisy highway next door; as compensation, we were offered 2 drinks! 2. Do not trust their Clean Promise policy! The cleaning Service does not do their job properly. We think some places are left uncleaned: there were breadcrumbs on the table left and the sink also had a few dirt marks left. 3. The place is far from anything, including reliable busses that occasionally do not arrive at all after 8 PM and you need to take a 20-25 mins walk from the train station. 4. They are very delicate if you say ”hurtful” but true things to them and they like to argue with a client instead of making things better. --------------------------------------- REPLY TO Lisa Neumeir General Manager: Unless you change your reply, everyone now will see how unprofessional you are. First, you lie, and you put words into other's people mouths: - I never said you ”treated me with hostility”, I said you were rude, - I never said ”Cool the room down to 10 degrees”, we wanted the temperature below 24, you and your employee knew and saw the problem and couldn't do anything about it, - I never in our exchange mentioned booking the wrong hotel because that was not the problem - I have no idea how you made such an irrelevant connection and what is going on up there. Finally, you continue misleading people. Yes, you immediately offered ”2 drinks on the house” but it clearly(!) was not enough for the problems we met, but... If did not understand the difference between a refund and compensation. After huge problems, you offered us a room change... on the very last night (you expected us to move to another room with all our things after 8 PM when we returned to the hotel?). And, you never offered ”the total amount back” but just one night when we expected 2 nights for the inconvenience caused. Lisa, you clearly do not know how to speak and how to treat a client in a respectable way when a problem appears, so they recommend you later. We will never want to have anything to do with not just your hotel but the whole brand of Holiday Inn Express.
