Best location! It was near and easy going around Yosemite park from this hotel. Right outside our room was the river and it was the best sight specially in the morning. Love the big bath tub with jets! Just needs more cleaning coz i noticed it has got molds already. There is absolutely no phone signal here and Wifi is not free so you have to purchase on check in. Funny tho coz once you are in Yosemite park, there is LTE signal. There is fridge, cooking utensils, electric stove, plates, cups, cleaning stuff, room was huge!! We got the 2 queen beds room type. The food in their restaurant is not so bad, the service could be better tho. Our food came super slow. There is plenty of parking space and its for free. I never get to try their pool and laundry facilities.

Cedar Lodge is really nicely located a couple of miles from the park entrance in El Portal. The bathrooms are spacious and the rooms are appropriately equipped other than the obvious absence of a microwave. If you need to microwave something, you will need to go to the hotel lobby, and this can be a bit of a walk given the size of the property. Other than that, I think the hotel does what it supposed to, provide cheap and convenient accommodation for travelers to the park.
