I just got back last night late and the first thing I wanted to do after coffee was write a review because my surfing vacation and my stay here were just that good. I had the best time here it was exactly what I hoped for and dreamed of prior to going. The hotel is roughly 2 hours from the airport in San Salvador and located on a hill overlooking the best breaks in the area and you can easily check the surf having your morning coffee in the morning at sunrise, did not have a day less than head high and clean offshore winds all morning and into early afternoon. The main point a little hike down is dominated by shortboard rippers but I spent all my time solo in front of hotel on a rented longboard all to myself which was exactly what I wanted. I only surf 1-2 times a year now due to living in baltimore, MD so I needed the alone time to get back into my groove and learn a board that is not mine. The food is terrific and extremely reasonably priced. go for the ceviche for lunch and banana pancakes for breakfast and maybe the whole fish or steak kabobs and you will be a happy man. Polite service and full of smiles made me fell like I was home, I will be back next year. My only thing is I would not stay here with young kids or elderly family members due to the steps as they are a beast especially after trekking them 4 times a day but not sure they cater to that but just a note so all are aware.
