Labranda Bahía de Lobos

Very poor hotel. My dirty coffee mug was left for my full 5 night duration. There was so many bugs and cockroaches in the room everyday. Wifi, forget about it. You get no wifi connection and they blame it on the winds even on days when there are no winds.

Fabulous hotel rooms really big stayed in D block comfy beds plenty hot water sun on balcony till late - no complaints about food (plenty of choice) or cleanliness of room & about th hotel staff work really hard always doin something really friendly too - pools are cold - th AI drinks are ok wine sangria - rum G&T would definitely come back

Had a great family holiday at this hotel. The rooms have air conditioning and a safe for your valuables. Lovely pool areas, including a quiet pool. The rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard and there is entertainment for all the family. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, half board and all inclusive are available. The only negative was the queues at the bar. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone

There’s a lot going for this hotel but also quite a lot not so good. Solo with a 11year old. All entertainment and evenings for younger children. Nothing for the older ones to do in the evening but hang about. Bar area would benefit from a seperate adult area and /or patio heaters so can enjoy outside whilst the kids shows are happening late into the evening. Pool area nice but they dont enforce their policy to not reserve beds so a few days couldn’t get 2 beds together. Beds aren’t in a good condition. Kids entertainment staff really good. Football and tennis accessible all day. Pool table by the swimming pool broken. Food started very well. Sushi, curries, selection of fresh salad, fruit and veg, fresh bread. Cakes and ice creams. Fruit cup by the pool or hotdogs and biscuits/donuts if that’s your preference. However found the meat tough, a lot of pork which I don’t eat and no red meat options. BBQ was all pork. Evenings are cold with the wind so bring jumpers. I don’t drink so can’t comment on the alcohol but herbal teas were weak and tasteless. Staff mostly friendly, gym equipment old and some not working properly but enough kit for a decent workout. Recommend e-bike hire to tour the island. We effortlessly did about 80km in a day to the sand dunes and around the coast line back to the marina. £45 each for the day and loads of battery. I expected a 4* to cater for all needs, this is very young children focused especially in the evening driving you out of the hotel to spend. Fabulous steak at 5th ave down a side street. Pizza and tacos fresh at coco palma on the beach. Rooms spacious. Would benefit from hooks on the walls for bags, coats, towels. And shower tray leaked every use causing bathroom floor to be a pool. Phone in the room didn’t work, annoying when needing reception has to walk down. Weather wasn’t amazing. It was warm but windy and didn’t see sunshine until after lunch. Shops were more expensive than England (dodgy football kits… Man City is adidas apparently). Good entertainment on music square a good 20mins walk away. The market was disappointing a few stalls of fake /cheap copies. Beaches are lovely and see is perfect to swim in. Albeit windy. This holiday was Good for a chill out but don’t expect too much. Because forced to go out of the resort I spent as much here as I did on a 5* luxury hotel in Crete that had a lot more to offer and didn’t spend any extra.

Would recommend this hotel. Great for families, very clean, entertainment good and food and drink choice/standard excellent. Would be happy to stay here again. The poolside entertainment team were great and staff friendly and helpful. Lots of staff working to keep place clean and tidy. The food choices with all inclusive were excellent and quality high.

I recently stayed at the hotel with my husband and teenage son. The hotel was clean and our room was lovely. I initially booked a deluxe double room and on arrival I was pleasantly surprised that we had been given a 2 bedroom suite. Cleaners came every day with fresh towels. Beds are hard but i don't mind a firm mattress and slept well. Also a free safe and tea and coffee making facilities was a nice touch. Entertainment- lots going on for younger children, unfortunately all Entertainment including evening shows were focused on young children. There was a singer in one night then another night a sub standard reggae act that performed for half an hour. That was basically it for the week other than kids disco and karaoke that was also hijacked by kids singing taylor swift songs all night. There is only one bar so unless you are on holiday with young children, there is no alternative place to have a quiet drink and enjoy your evening. Pool - there are 2 pools one which is meant to be adults only but there were often children there. Main pool has a bar and great atmosphere with entertainment but unless you are there for 9.30am don't expect to get a lounger. One day I sat at the pool from 9 30 and there were loungers next to me reserved, the people didn't turn up until 1 30pm so there is a clear problem with people reserving loungers and not using them. The food also wasn't what I expected of a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was excellent and lunch was good but evening meals served in the botanic restaurant were terrible. Most of the time there was only one option of a hot meal which was usually a pork or rabbit dish. I'm not a fussy eater but I survived on pasta and pizza and we also ate out on an evening many times. My husband also became ill after eating cold prawns from the salad bar. Location - the hotel is situated in a prime location within the resort and only a short walking distance to shops, restaurants and music Square. The hotel is nice and ideal if you have small children as they are kept well entertained but didn't suit us having an older child. The staff all work incredibly hard so I must mention them and thank them for all they do. I would recommend this hotel to families with young children but not if you have older or no children.

If anyone is thinking of going to this hotel, please don't be put off by the negative reviews. This was my second time here in three months and there has even been more improvements since my last visit. Firstly, the staff are amazing. I would like to particularly mention Carolina, Mouhcine and Lieselotte for their hospitality. They helped me with all my specific requests. Beach towels, an iron and a topper mattress are all available. Free safe is a great bonus. A nice addition this time was the drinks machine in the reception area and more staff in the night time bar. Breakfast and lunch were particularly good. Microwaves are available in both restaurants. Really enjoyed relaxing at both pools. Nina is a real asset to this hotel. Really enjoyed her stretch and yoga classes. She is so friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this hotel for it's cleanliness and convenience. It's in an excellent location.

After spending a week in the beautiful Bahia de Lobos, we will definitely be back! The weather was amazing, always found something you like to eat and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Our stay was made even better by the animation team, especially Carlo! He makes such an effort with everyone and brings the best atmosphere around the pool and the entertainment evenings. The rooms were lovely and spacious, and very clean, and the cleaners were also very friendly. The quiet pool is perfect for if you wanted some peace and quiet, and the family pool is full of fun, but still relaxing.
