Days Inn by Wyndham West Rapid City

This was a 1 night passing through town hotel stay. We looked for something that was cheaper and close to places we wanted to go for the night. The room room was nice sized with 2 Qu beds and they were super comfy...way more than I expected. The bathroom was a bit small for us, but had good water pressure for a shower. The staff was super friendly. We left an item behind and they held it for us until we made out turnaround trip. Thank you Bella!! If I had any complaints, it was SUPER loud with kids when we first checked in and tried to relax. It sounded like they were running around right outside our door and jumping on everything. Breakfast was a disappointment. They juice machine did not work, there was no cereal available and I got scalded with hot water from the coffee machine. The male attendant on duty paid no attention and instead watched something on his computer or ipad.

Property couldn’t collect from Travelocity- I had to pay twice. I need a credit from Travelocity.A big waste of my time.

There was garbage under the dust ruffle of the bed, curtains were hanging off the rod, furniture needed to be wiped down, poorly repaired shower curtain rod. Breakfast consisted of cereal, toast and a waffle machine. There was nothing to drink besides coffee, and there was no fruit of any kind,

There was a lot of areas in the hotel that were out of order or just didn't really work. There was also a high level of foot traffic for it being a "quiet" room

The back wall of the shower was not clean. Coffeemaker was out of order. No orange juice or apple juice. Smelled like smoke in the lobby.

Was a good stay, quite poor condition. Old, but still clean. Elevator was broken.

This was a disappointment The room had no heat and we ended up sick do to a mildy smell

We ended up not staying at this property because of mold in our room. To start, I got there to check in and there was no one around. Waited a while and a guy showed up in a jacket and winter hat. He kind of seemed surprised to see anyone. Got checked in and made it to our room. Nothing special but we were tired and ready for a good nights sleep. I went out to my car to grab something and see the front desk guy getting in his car and taking off. WTH? Got back to the room and decide to take a shower. Yuk. I see mold on every wall and ceiling paint cracking. I went back to talk to the guy and he wasn’t there. After a minute he pulled up and once again looked startled to see me. I told him about the mold and was going to get a new room but after all the weirdness we decided to pack up and leave. I wasn’t comfortable staying in ANY room in that hotel. I asked for a refund but he told me to call *******. I see that it was a non refundable room. SUX!

Very dated. I have not stayed at many Days Inns but it is several decades behind the times. Pictures are very inaccurate.
