When we checked into our room and pulled back the blanket, there were hairs all in our bed. The refrigerator was filled with mold and that’s how it started. We let the front desk know and they changed our room. The second room was even WORSE! Sand in the bed, hairs stuck to the sheets along with dirt spots an a huge urine stain on the mattress pad. I’m the bathroom were dirty towels and that was more than my wife could endure. We grabbed our bags and immediately headed fir the door. Since this was booked online, they refused to give us a refund and the woman manager was rude to top it off. This shows on some sites as 5-stars and other show 4-stars… ridiculous!!! This is a one star property and is absolutely disgusting! If I could give it zero stars I certainly would. Read my other reviews and see that I give great ratings and that’s usually it. This time I feel OBLIGATED to share that this place is bottom of the barrel and you deserve better. You need to know this place is horrible DO NOT COME HERE. Better to sleep in a rental car. Pay the extra money and go somewhere nice.

Quiet in the middle of noisy. It is an English-style mansion built during the colonial period of Sri Lanka in the 1930s. Tintagel is named after a castle in Cornwall, England (the birthplace of the legendary King Arthur) and Paradise Road is a high-end lifestyle brand created by local Sri Lankan designer Shanth Fernando. Geoffrey Bawa, a famous architect, participated in the design transformation. Before 2005, it was the residence of the President of Sri Lanka. The hall furniture layout combines the historical and cultural elements of the old objects (it is said to have been transported by China). The slightly oxidized brass chandeliers make the overall space more mysterious. All the artworks and paintings here are authentic. Therefore, a strong sense of art is born. It is definitely a photo resort (but make an appointment in advance. There are a total of 10 rooms in this hotel.) The last note is that I lived in ROOM 9 and was once a suite where Prince Charles lived.

The room is clean and specious for 3 of us and the lacking only no toothbrush provided, only 2 towels instead we paid for 3 persons. Breakfast was ok only the noodles is not properly cooked as it is still hard to chewed😅. (Still room for improvement) The main highlights was the service we received from the bellboy Mangala. He is very helpful, approachable and always smiling. Others then that it is easy to get the public transportation i.e. tuk tuk and car. Definitely we will be coming back again. Thank you

Beautiful old style boutique hotel. Charming and very calmly .loved the overall style of the lobby area and the rooms. Clean and well maintained perfectly located in Colombo Food and the service amazing .staff really made a mark with their hospitality and carm. Specialy General Manager Chaminda Gamage and his staff Kuruppu. Manjula and Isuru. They welcomed us with the warmest smile and always around to help us. We cant wait to visit again. Before the end of the holiday, we still planned to stay in Colombo for one day before leaving, so we still booked this hotel and checked in at ten in the morning. Since the guests had just checked out, we needed to wait for cleaning, so we sat on the side while the staff sent us there. The juice was served, just when the mouth was dry, the juice was like a timely rain. After a while, a manager said that cleaning would take some time and invited us to have a buffet breakfast. We politely declined, after all, it was a bit expensive, and then we went to the mall downstairs to eat. We bought something and just came back. The manager asked us if he could buy us a cup of coffee. We happily accepted it and were very touched at the same time because the wait was caused by our own early check-in, but the hotel tried to save us from the long wait. It's not pleasant to do so much, thank you very much

My title clearly shows that Cinnamon Grand is located in the center of Colombo, no matter which way you go. It is incredible that the government Rohan Karr has the ability to fund such a great hotel. I am a member of this hotel’s gym and health club. In recent years, Angsana, always happy to spend time at this hotel. NUGA GAMA is what I think is the biggest highlight of this hotel, Sri Lankan country style restaurant, a truly special healing experience. Where can I begin to start about this hotel? From the minute we walked through the door you would think you were in a 5* hotel with the level of service you receive. The room was modern and beds extremely comfortable. There were a few bits of damage but nothing we couldn't see past. The only gripe I had with the room is that because the Make up room/ Do not disturb LED light is beside the bed this lights up blue on a night and can be bothersome. A fantastic mention for our housekeeper Gihan keeping us well stocked in towels and everything tidy. The pool is well maintained and pool towels are of a very good quality. We looked in the gym and contrary to a previous review the air con works. Bar service and the range of drinks are excellent, as is the Cafe on the ground floor which has excellent cakes and is very reasonably priced. Infact we couldn't believe it. A great comfortable hotel with everything necessary, bed generally super. There is a workplace, the Internet is good. It was really comfortable, unexpectedly better than on the photo. Enabled early settlement. Air conditioner, fan, hot water, safe. I didn't like · The feeling of the strict is just, the requirement to pay in dollars (but accept cards), demanded a vaccination certificate (this January 2023, when all canceled as 2 months), on the doors of the inscription that it is impossible to bring guests. After a bunch of kind gestahouses it seemed to be too serious. The area is a little strange, lots of homeless. , but walked even at night, it was okay. Overall quiet, but if someone in the corridor starts talking then noisy, staff better behave quietly, especially in the morning
