Motel 6 Cocoa Beach, FL

After checking in and going to our room I believe that the pics on the site may have been photoshopped. The color scheme in the pics were the same but the room wasn't as nice as shown also after seeing the outside of the side we were staying I told the receptionist I wanted to check the room for bedbugs and her response was "if you were worried about bedbugs I shouldn't have made the reservation for here"

When we went into our room, it had not been cleaned, bed was undone with dirty used towels. When we went to change the room we had to downgrade to no microwave or fridge as all other rooms were not done either other than smoking rooms which i have two kids. The room i got for my parents, the ac didn’t work so they were moved next to a room where a ton of teenagers were staying and partied until 4 am even though they said quiet time was at 10. Very disappointed.

Booked 1 month ahead of time and paid completely in full. This was for a room with a kitchenette (with the intention of preparing meals during our stay). Arrived to be told our room was not available and we'd be put in another "downgraded" room (no kitchenette) because the hotel was under construction. Why could I not have received a phone call at any point ahead of time?? The room we were assigned had no working AC unit. We were told to unplug it and plug it in again to get it working. This did not help. Second floor, muggy, and hot (with bugs crawling all over the dresser) so we asked for another room. Placed in a room that had a working AC unit. The furniture was literally falling apart - nightstand was cheap particle board and crumbling. It smelled of must and mold. We both started experiencing allergy attacks in the night. We promptly moved hotels for the remainder of the vacation thanks to Expedia's fantastic assistance. You would be better off sleeping in your car than in this place. They close the lobby down from 11pm-7am because they are "short-staffed". So if you were to need anything in the night, too bad for your luck. RUN don't walk in the opposite direction of this disgusting hotel. We found out later that the rooms weren't "under construction" they were CONDEMNED due to poor conditions and mold!!

The room was not ready at 3pm, it was a nice large room with a kitchenette. The mattress was old and the pillows flat, but the location was great! Short walk to a beautiful beach! The pool was nice and clean. It’s a budget place.

This is a cheap, no-thrills property that is good for a night or two stay. Everything in the room seemed clean, but the condition of the room and the property were a bit dated. There are restaurants and plenty of stores within walking distance. Popular bars & clubs are just a short Lyft ride away.

Internet terrible, microwave so dirty we refused to use. Bathtub would not drain and taps were opposite what it says so scalled myself. Property needs attention. Convenient to beach. Bathroom door doesnt lose. Im very tolerable but had to say somethi g. Regards
