My wife and I stayed the nights of June 8th and 9th at La Posada de Don Rodrigo and had a very positive experience. The room (lake view) was very spacious, clean, comfortable and well kept. Location was really good, breakfast was enjoyable and the very well kept landscape made the hotel look very different and typical. Our greatest gratitude to Gerardo (who checked us in), Gustavo, the manager, who was always very on top of everything to make sure that all was going extremely well during our stay, and also Wendy whom we spoke to for a long time at Reception before we departed from the hotel; she was so professional, friendly and nice that definitely left the last very positive impression on us from La Posada De Don Rodrigo. We would like to highly commend the Housekeeping, Restaurant and all rest of the Staff members for having been so kind to us from the beginning to the end of our stay. Very nice and clean hotel. We thought it was a bit expensive for what you get. However the room was fine. We moved the beds around so we could still sleep together. When you’re in the bathroom, other people can hear you. And in the morning I woke up from the cleaners but that was all. The outside noise doesn’t reach the hostel because it is in an (save) ally. Also the people speak good English!
