The hotel was in a beautiful lush green garden. Our room was huge and we even had a private garden. The hotel was close to the viewpoint and an entrance to the National park. There was also a cafe very close by with a large outdoor play area which was fantastic for my two kids. There were a few restaurants around and we found the stay lovely and peaceful. This is the perfect hotel if you want to get away from noise and into nature.

The hotel environment is elegant and clean, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the breakfast options are quite rich and taste good. Since there is a cross-country running held in the local area, you can communicate with the hotel one day early to prepare breakfast for that day. Like it In addition, there was a bolt driver who was not familiar with the hotel location early that morning. Thanks to the reception desk for communicating with the driver, he could arrive at the venue on time, otherwise the competition qualification will be invalid.
HongFeng 168 Villa Hotel

Great place to stay when visiting our friends who live in a nearby gated community. Has a clean pool and outside gym. So, all these things suited our purposes. However, if you are a tourist visiting Chiang Mai to see the sights, this place wouldn't work for you - it is located a way away from town, amidst the 'farang' gated communities and is difficult to find for Taxi pickup arrangements. There are some good eating places nearby - Yummys Pizza is only 400 metres walk away along a back lane. You should also be aware that Chinese tour groups stay here, so the TV has ONLY Chinese channels - not even any Thai TV in our room! The breakfast is catered for to Chinese tastes and (as usual in most Thai hotels) the eggs are served very cold.

Problems: Poor sound insulation. Expect to hear every squeak of shoes on tiles, every cough in the hallway. And if you have noisy neighbours, you'll need ear plugs. Breakfast is barely palatable. Instant coffee and eggs that seem to be fried the night before. Can't even get real coffee?!!? Location is horrible. Nothing close and going absolutely anywhere will require a taxi or a bike rental (8-10 min to town, if you're a fast rider) Unbelievably, there is no convenience store under 1km. I've never ever encountered this in Thailand. Walked away from a 5 day booking on day 2. There are far better places in town for the same price. With that said, the rooms are clean and well maintained. If that's all that matters to you, then this place will be fine.
