Hotels near The Little Mermaid Chiang Mai in Chiang Mai

Recently stayed at Lotus Pang Suan Kaew Hotel in Chiang Mai. The location of the hotel was not ideal, situated quite far to various attractions. Fair to say that the room was good and provided the basic amenities, delicious breakfast, though it felt a bit dated. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, some areas of improvement could include modernizing the facilities and updating the decor to enhance the overall guest experience, especially there are leakage near bathroom area, it definitely has potential to be vintage hotel if improvement made

Nice clean comfy and spacious hotel. One issue need to complain is upgrade to triple sharing paying 150++ sgd but its actually a superior twin room just extra blanket n pillow. No extra bed given. Feel cheated.

The staff in all sections are extremely professional, especially front desk team and room service team. Room was nice and I would like to suggesting, please consider to put arms chairs or small sofa at the big window. Bed is comfortable good quality of materials, bathroom is very good with shower and big bathtub good quality of products. Additionally room is clean and tidy. Price with the service qualities is perfect valuable.

While this place is a little off the beaten path it is practically a brand new hotel!! Very clean and nice! Breakfast was included and very good. For value and comfort this place is the best hotel I have stayed in while visiting Thailand.

Excellent location! It's on the side of Nimmanhaemin that has lots of food options, massage places, etc. It's pretty clean and comfortable. Aircon and bathroom facilities are both decent. The staff are friendly and helpful, including their housekeeping and technician. The only downside is that it is an old hotel, so the corridor is quite dark, the door doesn't feel like it closes securely, and the room/bathroom isn't the nicest (if you're looking for something more aesthetic). You can ask for a change of room though, eg to be closer to the lifts instead of far down the corridor, and the staff will accommodate your request readily if there's another room available. If you're sensitive to noise, it can be quite noisy at night because it's near a bar, but otherwise it's bearable.

My experience at Amora Thapae was nothing short of extraordinary. The seamless check-in process, combined with the attentive service, truly defined five-star hospitality. It is a very cost-effective hotel. Because it is newly opened, the appearance and hotel rooms are very beautiful and modern. There is also a lot of working space in the lobby and there is a cafe next to it. Unfortunately, it does not provide staple food. Apart from the fact that it is far away from the center of Chiang Mai (if you rent a car/motorcycle, there is basically no problem, and it is also convenient for visiting suburban attractions), and there are not many restaurants with English menus nearby, everything else is very good!

Rooms are so ordinary and in good condition. Unfortunately, the shower is only separated by a corner and the bathroom is mostly wet when doing the shower.
