Chalet Hotel la Sapiniere

The place is all around absolutely fantastic if I must say. I was blown away by the service of the staff - absolutely the most friendly hotel staff I have ever experienced. This in conjunction with the amenities made we feel as if I had to write a review for this incredible stay.

Terrific older hotel in a nice location near downtown Chamonix. Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful when asked questions about restaurant reservations, skiing ideas, etc. If there is enough snow you can walk across the street and cross a small park on your skis, grab a short poma lift then do a short walk down to the Brevent Cable car. Alternatively, there are bus stops right outside the hotel where you can catch buses to various other parts of town. There are a few nearby restaurants that are a short walk. The views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille de Midi from our room were spectacular. We had a smallish room with two smaller beds, a bathroom with tub and shower, with the toilet in a separate room. A bit older radiator heating system that got quite warm at times. Nice balcony with views so opened the door a time or two to cool things down. Ski storage rooms with boot dryers was nice. Outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna. You can reserve a time to use privately. You can pre order breakfast for the following morning for an additional fee. Overall an exceptional experience if you don’t need a lot of space.

Nice location with splendid view over the mountain (room facing main road and mountain side). Easy acces to lower seat cable lift, then 5min walk to cable car station. Friendly staff, nice simple breakfast, clean room and offers sauna cabin for private use. Beds provide a good night sleep :). Hotel is close to bars & restaurants, walking distance of 5-10min. Personally, we didn't like the accessibility of the ski resorts and skiing time versus being on the lift is 1:1. Old lifts and food on the slopes is very pricey for low quality food e.g. lasagna €25, a plate of plane fries €10, drinks around €5

Loved this chalet style, independent hotel. Clean and comfortable. Easy free parking on site. Convenient, short walk into town. Wonderful views from or room/balcony. Great breakfast. Super friendly helpful staff.

We had a wonderful stay at La Sapinière. A very cosy traditional hotel in a perfect location just outside the main centre of Chamonix, with superb views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We would most definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable and homey a**osphere, but also well-appointed and fastidiously clean. The staff are all welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I will definitely stay here again if I revisit the area.

We had a fantastick stay at this wonderful resort hotel. The owner Patrick and his wife were great . Pasquale their all around utility man was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Overall the best view of any hotel Ive ever stayed at. You must come and see the French sister city and stay at this wonderful third generation family owned hotel.city to Aspen Colorodo

We recently spent 10 working in Chamonix. Our accommodation was a wonderful old style building on the foot hills of Mount Blanc. We had unbelievable views of the mountains and the surrounding countryside. Our host Patrick was a very charming gentleman Provide great information about the town of Chamonix and the local amenities. We enjoyed the bar area which had some of the most stunning views you'll ever experience of the mountains. All in all it was a great experience to work in France and the accommodation was wonderful. Full of charm, very clean rooms, great views. Thank you Patrick and your staff for a wonderful stay at your charming hotel.
