Octavia is less than 100 meters from the sea, located in the middle of the island’s coastline. We booked a triple room, one big bed, one small bed, the room is separated by a wall. The bathroom is quite big with a bathtub. The breakfast is very simple, all processed products, no hot food. You can also eat full, bread slices, ham slices, cheese, fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee. You can walk around the island when you go out of the hotel, and it’s no problem to walk three times a day. The rooms are simple but it’s the view that’s superb here. It’s well worthwhile going for a terrace with a sea view. When we arrived, whoever the gentleman on reception was was not having a good day. We asked whether we could get a larger room as as we saw there were wider rooms on the room plan but he snapped at us saying that all the rooms were the same size and we had a bigger balcony. The next morning when we came down to reception, it was a different story altogether. The young man and his parents (we assume) were lovely. And confirmed that the rooms were of different sizes and told us we could happily have another room. The rooms have small fridges and a safe which is great if you wanted to go for a swim otherwise they’re simply decorated in white and have everything you need. Good WiFi and aircon. Our room was very clean. We made good use of our terrace eating breakfast there. There is no lift so if you have any mobility problems it would be difficult for you. The steps are steep. No breakfast is offered but there was a restaurant attached and the food looks very good.
